I would love to love this restaurant but the owner or manager was rude to us on Mother?s Day a few years ago. We gave them... several chances during COVID shut downs and their customer was subpar and their food is not consistent from 1 visit to thenext. Our orders were often wrong as well. I've been going to The River Tap & Grill since the first week that it opened. It's always a great experience. Steve, Julie,... and the rest of the staff are always welcoming and attentive. The food and drinks never disappoint. Quite often I will bring"new people" to dine there for the first time; they always walk away amazed about this "little gem" near the Saco River. Therestaurant is the perfect "10th Hole" for the ladies in my Thursday golf league to gather after our weekly round. Greatatmosphere, food, beverages, and staff - what more could one want?? Read more

I had dinner with my daughter here for the first time yesterday. I was so pleased with everything! Very fresh salad, well... seasoned fries and incredible vanilla cake for dessert. The cocktails were excellent, and we received great service. I willdefinitely be back with my husband. Read more

We have tried the River Tap & Grill a few times which has been fine. The only complaint is the hostess. She ignores customers... that come in. We called ahead to ensure we wouldn't have to wait and was told we wouldn't be waiting. We got there with plentyof tables available and was consistently ignored. Finally we were seated after a 20 min wait. Maybe give her a differentposition? Read more
