Came with a group for lunch, we all ordered our meals after about 20min of waiting... once our food was ordered about another 45... mins or so go by and everyone's food is ready except mine... I am informed at that time that the fish dinner I ordered isn'tavailable on weekends.. I am then asked if I know what I want again.. well, NO.. Im not gonna wait another 45 min just so i caneat while everone else is done and waiting on me....If it wasn't available I should have been notified then... horribleservice! I will not be back... The Angus steak had little taste. I had to ask for steak sauce to add taste. A few days earlier, a friend cooked a steak on a... grill, with seasoning that tasted a whole lot better. No steak sauce required. The waiter was excellent and I really enjoy theeverything to look at and read on the walls and ceiling. Read more
We went to the Green Diamond for the first time tonight which is actually our anniversary. We like to try the local restaurants... and support local people, and the Green Diamond did not disappoint! Fun atmosphere, stellar drink selection and the food is notat all what I?d call ?bar food?. It was delicious! My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience from theservice to the drinks and the food. We were personally greeting by the manager who was simply a sweetheart. The food is great with decent prices. The Seafood Picatta, (scallops and shrimp over a garlic oil pasta) tasted amazing and was... a generous portion. Drinks were good as well. The atmosphere is cozy with dark oak paneling, and on the ceiling of the bar arebeautiful paintings of Victorian women and here's a fun fact about that: Long time ago, when the restaurant was first built, thepaintings on the ceiling of the Victorian women were totally nude, which was considered truly beautiful art, (it was on the barside only, so no children would see it) but unfortuneately, there were too many complaints anyway among some of the "christian"patrons, so the painter returned to paint pasties over the private parts. For a cozy, intimate casual restaurant, I highlyrecommend the Green Diamond! It's a "hidden gem" in Barberton! Read more
Food is stellar! 5/5 for food. Service is awful! 0/5 for service. Our appetizer was served BEFORE our soft drinks. Took the... server a super long time to come back and get our order. She never cleared a single plate from the table from start to finish.She would disappear for long periods of time and come back and say sorry. Waited 20+ mins for check after finishing dinner, sheactually never brought it we just handed her our card so we could leave. Read more
The baked potato and salad was good, as I ordered from Doordash, but my steak I ordered Well done and I got it still mooing. All... pink center with red coming out..... Not even close to well done. Read more
We love this place. Food and ambiance are great but they are working their staff to death. They need more than one person... working the bar. Owners are losing money with poor management. Read more
