I?ve lived in Bardstown for the majority of my life and yet I?ve never stepped foot in this business until today. While the food... was absolutely phenomenal, it?s the service that will keep me coming back! My fiancé and I were waited on this evening by alovely lady by the name of Amy. She was ever so kind and went above and beyond to ensure that we received the best servicepossible. We asked Amy for a bottle of Sweet Niagara wine to go. I watched as she drug out boxes of wine, ran to the back of thestore and searched the entire place up and down for a bottle, but was faced with defeat. I ensured Amy that it was okay andasked if she would so kindly recommend the next best wine that they had. Amy went to the back and poured us a sample of theirSweet Strawberry wine, adding into the fact that it was their best seller and that she didn?t want us to go home with wine thatwe weren?t sure if we enjoyed or not. Needless to say, we did enjoy the taste of their ever so smooth wine and thanked her forher over the top generosity. Sometimes a person can make the experience so much better and that person was Amanda. We had such a great experience at Bullitts... from the food to the service and atmosphere. Amazing experience here. Kelly did a great job waiting on us. Wines lean towards the sweet side which was fine by us. Strawberry... & Niagara were my favorites. The Supreme pizza was also very good. Definitely worth a stop! Read more
Amazing staff that excels above any other establishment by far, that I have ever stumbled across! Amongst the days of wearing... facial coverings that is hard on people who work in the public eye, the hot kitchens of restaurants and behind the scenes, theshort staffing in the workforce, these ladies and gentleman really know how to go above and beyond to make an experience anexperience, rather than just another day of eating out. Knowledgeable of menu items and the bar spirits, recommended anappetizer that was the best meatballs and cheesy garlic bread imaginable, and the wine was one of a kind! Made very differentthan any other wine process! I say it?s worth a trip if your local or near local or are just happening to be visiting thebourbon trail. Tried to order blackberry wine. Out. Was told bread was out. (At an Italian restaurant?) Drinks sat empty, and when we finally... asked for refills on the sweet tea..... you guessed it. They were out. We were told they'd make more......so we waited. Andwatched the servers do everything but make sweet tea. So we switched to water, and were still charged $6.00 on the bill. Andwith three servers and only three tables eating, being busy can't be the excuse. We've eaten here before, but the experiencetoday will keep us from returning.
