Atmosphere was interesting as well as the history. The food was surprisingly terrible. My medium well burger was completely raw... on the inside. The bun felt frozen on the sides. Sadly, no one at our party had a good meal. The quality of the food was poor.We skipped dessert given the meal was so bad. I really thought it would?ve been a great place to eat. Our server was very niceto everyone at our table. Read more

Super cool historic tavern with great ambiance, fantastic service, and amazing bourbon cocktails. You can walk around upstairs... to check out some of the history too. Food was a little bland and served on dishes that reminded me of a diner, which I felt wasodd for such a fancy, unique place. We'd definitely return just for the ambiance and history alone. Nice atmosphere but not worth the price of dinner. Appetizer came out cold. Sent it back for a 20sec microwave. Main course... 1/2lb cheese burger was cold also. Wife's cat fish was also cool and at the end of her one fillet was a bit mushy for my liking.Overall a 3 for food and 3 for service. Do better folks you have a reputation to uphold. Read more

Chuck, Bree and Kennedy are warm, friendly and very hard workers. We were there on a busy Saturday evening while they were short... handed. Our food was delicious and we appreciated the friendly hospitality. We were able to tour the upstairs and takepictures. This is so much more than just a restaurant, it is a true experience. The history in this building and the knowledgethe Staff has just adds to the experience. I would go here again. Read more

Food was a little slow. I try to grade my places on would Iordered what I would have again.. I had the bourbon walnut crusted chicken, it was good.. no complaints. But I would trysomething different next time. Overall, great place.. some history to it.. and actually very customer oriented. Kennedy didan awesome job Read more

We went to the Bourbon Bar first and had wonderful service and delicious drinks. When our table was ready in the tavern, we... were able to order quickly. We waited 45 minutes for our salads. The cold food came 20 minutes later. At that point wedecided to leave to get hot food at a fast food restaurant. The manager ?generously? took the cold food off of our check andonly made us pay $24 for our three side salads. DO NOT eat here unless you have three hours to wait for sub par food. What afrustrating and disappointing experience. One star is generous. Read more

We are from NY and this restaurant is exactly what we wanted. The service is friendly and attentive, but not annoying. My... husband got the hot brown (never heard of it before) and loved it. I had the pork loin in bourbon mango sauce and it was cookedperfectly. The sweet tea was delicious and I don?t even like iced tea! I tasted my husbands bread pudding - OMG. The best! Ihighly recommend this place. ?? Read more

We had an amazing dinner! I had a bourbon flight with 5 choices that I had never sampled. 4 were awesome... 1 was ok. But that's... why you try that right? I'm sorry I had left my phone in the car or I would've added pictures. Our server was perfect. Thebuilding was rich with history and stories. They even provided a 4-5 page printed history about the building and the area. Itwas a very memorable evening! Read more
