Had an early dinner there on a Tuesday evening, with four people. The service was cheerful and friendly but not responsive; when... we needed something, it was hard to get their attention and they were slow getting it done. I ordered a Reuben sandwich; it wasterrible -- worst Reuben I've ever had. The corned beef was tough and did not taste like deli corned beef. On the positive side, the sweet potato fries were great. Very poor Shepherd's Pie entree! The mashed potatoes tasted like instant, the gravy was no thicker than water, the peas and... carrots were like canned peas and carrots. Should be better at an Irish restaurant. Atmosphere, service and drinks were ok. Read more

Last day of our Anniversary Week Vacation and the spot to try is here, to compare it to our "Long Time Favorite Restaurant" that... we have frequented since 1976. The Pour House of Tinton Falls, N.J. was the first establishment that a group of friend'sstarted their Adulthood with our First Legal Alcoholic Beverage. In addition to that, this is where we had our first bowl ofOnion Soup, Grilled Hamburger sitting at the Bar, Potato Chips with the warmed up granulated Cheddar Cheese Dip and CrunchyBoardwalk Hotdog with the Cheese Dip on top. First visit to Doyle's Pour House did not disappoint!!! Both of us had the verydelicious Onion Soup with 3 Cheese melted to perfection on top. I followed it up with Chicken Wings coated with a Spicy GarlicSauce, Celery and cups of Blue Cheese and Ranch Dips!!! Kit had the Pour House Special Angus Burger with Onion Rings. Mychoice was the American Melt Sandwich, Thinly Sliced Roast Beef, Horseradish Sauce and Cheddar Cheese between 2 slices of SourDough Bread, lightly toasted, French Fries and Coleslaw... Both of our meal's we're delicious and delightful!!! Theatmosphere, politeness of the Staff was appreciated and excellent!!! Read more

Unfortunately Doyle?s is not the place to go to any more. I brought my family there like I have been doing for years my son... ordered a Reuben it was terrible the chicken wings were dry and we did not get them back on the grill. My daughter in law justordered onion rings she is a vegetarian when they brought her the onion rings it had two pieces of chicken tenders in them. Thefries with my meal definitely were cooked too early and then they put them back in the oil they were very soggy. Doyle?s willnot be getting our business anymore. I think the owners should eat the food they serve before giving it to their customers .And also they serve their appetizers on paper plates which I think is very chintzy . This was at the Doyle?s in barnegat Read more

Honestly SO IMPRESSED with this place. First time coming there and immediately felt a ?chill vibe.? They had on PopRocks... SiriusXM channel and it was amazing music. We were all singing along to every song played. Everyone just seemed to be having acomfortable time eating there. The ambiance was cool because you can just look around to see the extremely cool signs/licenseplates they have all around the restaurant. The Angry Orchard on tap tasted delicious compared to bottled. In regards to thefood, that was what I was most impressed about! We ordered Pierogies and Steak Bites as appetizers. The steak bites were cookedperfectly and tasted so fresh. My family ordered BBQ wings, which they said tasted great and came in a great portion size. Ifigured this would be a great place to try the Reuben (which on the menu said popular item). I was extremely impressed and wishI took a picture of it to post. However, it was the perfect portion. It wasn?t sloppy and ?falling-apart? like most places serveReubens, which is what I was afraid of. The rye bread was even ?pressed?, which made the sandwich like a panini. It wasdelicious and easy to eat. The shoestring fries were addicting lol I would absolutely come here again and for happy hour withhalf-priced apps! Read more

Nice place for a decent meal at a good price. Bar style atmosphere, if your into that. Would recommend.
