Place never disappoints, food quality is always excellent. Staff is great, big variety on the menu . Did a Turkey burger with... Swiss, fried onions, and mushrooms on a garlic Kaiser roll. With waffle sweet potato fries. Also enjoyed a big bowl of creamor carrot soup. If your a soup lover like me you gotta get a bowl at sweet Jenny?s. These bowls are huge like cereal bowls. Soup was hot and stayed hot . Been going to sweet Jenny?s for years. Original location unfortunately burned down , they managedto come back , find another place about a mile away . Nice quiet hometown restaurant with a country type ambiance. Food is fresh, service was excellent. I enjoyed a chicken salad... with cranberries and candied walnuts on a soft pita; my daughter had a cup of minestrone soup and half chicken salad on toast.The restaurant also offers a nice ice cream selection. Ended my meal with a double scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone. Read more
Stuff was super friendly. Came here for Father?s Day and it was a great experience. We had cheeseburgers and chicken... cheesesteaks and topped it off with cookie dough sundaes. But what we really liked about it was the wall of shame/the wall offame. Where are you supposedly have to eat a 2 pound cheeseburger in less than 10 minutes. Fail? You end up on the wall ofshame. Want to go down memory lane? Decor is very cozy - soda fountain part has original swiveling stools and dining area has booths... and tables. The food is really very good! As for the service: I ordered a custom made banana split? not like the one in the menuand it was perfectly delivered with all the details! Now THAT is service! My favorite (first) meal of the day is breakfast and at Sweet Jenny's is certainly a treat. It is difficult to choose from the... extensive menu, but I finally settled on the "Fat Boy" breakfast, which included- eggs done correctly, the most creamy sausagegravy over top of 2 light, flaky biscuits ( yum!), bacon done evenly crisp, and finally 6 crunchy, mini potato pancakes withboth applesauce and sour cream! By the way, the coffee was quite fresh. The service is usually quite welcoming and friendly.Without going into detail about today's experience, I will just say that anyone can have a bad day...
