My daughter and I had a great visit to Dablon yesterday. Beautiful tasting room and grounds! Our wine consultant was excellent... at sharing information about the wines we were sampling. We purchased a chardonnay that my daughter really enjoyed. We lookforward to going back! Read more

I joined 3 other friends for wine tasting early afternoon on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all. The wine is wonderful, the view is... wonderful, the music is wonderful. The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars was the lack of food. They have asmall self serve refrigerator with cheese and olive plates (around $25 each), crackers sold separately. It seems they haveplenty of room for local food trucks to offer food and I think that would be an outstanding addition. Read more

I have been to Dablon multiple times and enjoyed their venue, wine and service. This time I brought 6 of my high school... girlfriends and arrived an hour before closing. We were told they couldn?t do any tastings as that would take 45 minutes. We hadan hour before closing. Then we were told we only had time for one glass of wine. The server didn?t even attempt to clean thecounter as we were waiting. We walked out! We?ll never go back. Read more

I have never had a bad experience in this winery like I did today. We arrived with a party of 13, celebrating a birthday. I hate... that I did not get the women?s name. She spoke to us like we were children. Shushed us like we were children. We have been herebefore and knew how it worked. She had no customer service what so ever. Used to be my favorite winery. Please make sure youtrain your staff to be more polite. She definitely did not represent Dablon. Read more

As a last minute decision to drive in from Chicago (90 minutes from Lincoln Park), I was absolutely blown away. The estate is... gorgeous. They have a strong attention to detail as the vines were meticulously manicured, and the tasting room is wrapped instone with granite countertops. They have a swanky outdoor seating area with views of the vineyard. The wine is mostly Frenchthemed from what I picked up, which was a refreshing difference from the other local options. They have an amazing CabernetSauvignon Reserve. They also have a petit verdot that was incredible. I have not seen that grape as a stand-alone and it isgrown on the estate. Everything we tried was fantastic and the staff was very knowledgable. I have a feeling we will beregulars here! Read more

What a beautiful tasting room with lots of old refurbished wood on the walls. This place was packed and loud. Really loved the... cabs. Not your typical Michigan sweet cheap reds. They also have an area for private parties. I did not see it.owner is fromChicago and was putting glasses away. Very nice. Read more
