The atmosphere is the best part in my opinion. They have done a great job with a lot of old firefighter nick knacks; especially... we'll decorated during Halloween and Christmas. The food is okay in my opinion - some things are very good while others aren'tgreat. They do have a lot of options and the wait staff is usually really good. If it's busy, parking behind the restaurant canbe a goat rodeo, but parking on the street near the church and walking over isn't bad. Read more

Good food, great service and wonderful decor in this period firehouse! It's a fun place to meet friends and share a meal or... snacks. They've done a marvelous job of collecting past and present fire department memorabilia, shirts and badges. We'retraveling the country and we're only here one day, if we lived here this would be our hangout! Read more

Service was excellent. Food was good, though one person got a Reuben and it had almost no sauerkraut on it. Burger was cooked... perfectly & delicious. Fish & chips excellent. Fries very good. Great beer selection. Overwhelming array of fire departmentparaphernalia on every surface; plus Halloween decorations all over the place-- just way too much on the eyes. Window we weresitting next to was quite dirty, and rugs need a shampoo. Music was a radio station playing horrible pop, not to mentioncommercials. So ambience for us really detracted from the overall experience. Read more

Delicious food. (And I'm being honest). We got the fireman appetizer (and more) and it was SO well cooked. The oil they used was... clean and there was no mixing of flavors (our mozzarella sticks didn't taste like our mushrooms which was great!) Our server wasa super nice young gal who figuratively wrapped our experience up with a bow. :) I'll def be back! Read more

Such a cute place. My shepherd's pie was amazing, soft fluffy mashed potatoes, savory gravy with big chunks of meat.. yum! ... Service was great too! Read more

I don?t give 2 star reviews often - but we were very excited to eat here based on the other reviews. We arrived around 7pm on a... Tuesday and immediately were excited because of the atmosphere and how well done the fire house was. We placed our orders andwere surprised to find out that they were out of most things we wanted. Our appetizers came out promptly - however they weremediocre at best. The garlic knots were essentially fried dough and covered in grease and partially melted cheese. It took overan hour to receive our entrees and they both arrived cold. The taste of the food was mediocre at best - but overall prettyflavorless. We were disappointed to say the least. Read more

Great place to eat a good lunch. They were not busy at all. Waitress was prompt in taking all of our orders and checked back... often. Meal took a little longer than a few others that were sat after us but I had some good company so it was fine. I got theChief salad and some onions rings. The dressing was a Vidalia onion. Both were very good and I would order them again. Myparents frequent here a lot. Read more
