They have terrible costumer service although the food is better than most of the Chinese restaurants in Barrie. I called them... while parked outside their store and the child (literally a child) that answered the phone informed me that it would be an hourbefore the chef would be cooking any food as he is having his dinner. November 6th 2020. Women who took My order was so rude. Hung up on Me before I finished talking then when I called back to ask... a simple question was short on phone and beyond rude. We ordered take out. They were able to accommodate an allergy to shellfish. We got a lot of food for our money. The staff over... the phone could have been a bit friendlier (sounded exasperated when I asked for the accommodation) but the food was good so Ioverlooked it. We picked up our order. Read more
I don't write many reviews, but this one is necessary if this restaurant wants to improve. I was there New Years Eve, so I... understand it was a busy night for all restaurants. But I preordered 4 hours prior to my pick up and still ended up waitingover 30 minutes. The restaurant area was freezing, no heat. The staff argued loudly raising eyebrows from everyone waiting. They accessed frozen food literally right at the reception area. When finally home, rhe rice was cold when opened. Overall thefood was ok, but nothing special. Never ordering from there again. Sorry. The food is very salty. I had a plate and drank three one litre bottles of water as I had an incredible thirst after eating... here. The food was nothing special and unfortunately the old owners had great food at very reasonable prices. Did not findthat with the new owners. Just my opinion and please try for yourself and let me know your thoughts as I don?t want to bash anybusiness as I respect all who try and become small business owners. Read more
Gross! Avoid at all costs.. As per other reviews, food is cooked in oil that is likely months old, not filtered and left to... sit and get stagnant over night.. Bones in my chicken.. The oil tasted well used, for anything I purchased that was deep fried, like the chicken balls, spring roll and eggrolls. The... rice didn't taste right either. The plain noodles were OK and the rice was still edible, just wasn't happy about my purchase andI won't be ordering from here again. Read more
so after watching three episodes of this is Us where the Pearson clan continually ate Chinese food I had to fufil my Cravings.... They are only one of two Chinese food restaurants that I order from. They have a large selection of menu items. Very reasonablypriced. I especially like the fact that they have their kids working for them and they're quite entertaining. Highly recommend! Read more
