The Vietnamese spring rolls were extremely well done, perfect crunch and flavor! The pho I ordered was the biggest size, which... ended up being a lot of food. Especially since I ordered extra meat with it. I couldn't finish it all without feeling too full.Overall the flavor was great though. Definitely one of the better pho places in Barrie by far. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This is by far the most authentic Pho restaurant in Barrie! The owners are not Vietnamese... and that's why I think there are negative reviews. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The Pho was delicious, thebroth was so tasty that my mom drank every drop. The meat and veggies are fresh and the noodles are perfectly cooked. We orderedthe shrimp tempura and it was very good and crispy. The pork chop rice is excellent as well. Be sure to order a milkshakebecause they make it to order with fresh fruit. The menu not only has Vietnamese cuisine, but also Chinese, Thai, and Japaneseas well! I will return for sure to try everything! Read more
I really enjoyed Big Pho! ???? the staff were very quick & attentive, & the food was served so quickly! I ordered the Rare Beef... Pho (a favourite of mine) & the Vietnamese Spring Rolls. The beef wasn?t very rare when it was served, but it tasted delicious!????The spring rolls were particularly unique! I really enjoyed the batter/wrap they were deep fried in & the value for theprice was surprising. Id be interested to try some of their other options, as the menu is quite vast. My first time trying big pho! And I'm highly impressed. Very kind people even went out of her way to bring the food out the... car! The portion sizes are incredible. Ideal location for restaurant in a fairly busy area of Barrie. Server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the items on... the menu. Food was cooked and prepared well. Ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Fresh shrimp rolls, Crispy rolls and an order of TomYum soup. The Pad Thai and rolls were meh, but the soup was very good. We did not try the Sushi but the couple dining beside usenjoyed it thoroughly. Read more
Truly one of the best pho/Asian cuisine restaurants I have ever been to in my life. That's coming from someone who can get... homemade pho too. First off, the flavours are absolutely delightful and they manage to cook so much of their menu right. I haveyet to try something that hasn't amazed me yet here. You get great value for your meals here and a lot of other places justcan't compare. The service here is great and friendly. A nice family vibe to it from the owners. They maintain their restaurantwell and the decor is simple yet nice. Plenty of space for dining in here if you don't want to do take out. If you enjoyChinese/Vietnamese cuisine or just want to try something new, you owe it to yourself to eat here at least once. Read more
