Great prices and sizes for fish and chips. Service good. Place could use a little keep up. Not a fan of having everyone grabbing... their own cutlery during covid-19. Overall its really good. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the fish and the nice light batter is a bonus. The fries... are a bit dry. They have good variety for sides and deserts including Kawartha dairy ice cream and funnel cakes. They also offerdelivery through Skip the Dishes. Read more
Eating here now with some friends. We travelled in from the north and brought our appetites. We are all eating the Halibut for... the hell of it. It's great. It's Nice and crispy and the batter is flavourable and not saturated with grease. Fries are proper!Wish it came with coleslaw tho but we did get it on side and it was excellent. I would not recommend this place at all, the fish battered was thick and inside part was not cooked, the layer between fish and... batter was just gross, dry frozen fries, tarter sauce taste like vinegar and mayonnaise and not homemade at all as described byworker? the place looked disgusting overall and I was so grossed out by everything that barely ate the food, will definitely notreturn and recommend you don?t either, just go to the halibut house that?s 3 minutes away, it?s better and much cleaner place.
