Cravings Fine Foods Fails to Show-up! If your family event is important to you, then Cravings is not a trustworthy choice. ... Craving's failure to show up and deliver the dinner for our planed and confirmed Family Celebration was heartbreaking. Theworst possible scenario for any special event, is the caterer whom, you have worked with closely and are trusting to prepare andprovide the meal as promised, fail to arrive! It is one thing to under deliver the quality of food expected, but inexcusablenot to show up at all! Cravings failed to uphold their professional responsibility to cater the celebration of our Mom?s 90thbirthday as trusted. This was the first family gathering after almost 18 months of Covid restrictions and isolation and onewhere we wanted to celebrate the resilience of this amazing woman who lived alone the whole time! The following timelinedemonstrates the advanced and careful planning at our end and Cravings knowledge, and professional commitment to the celebrationitself. 1. June 9th ? Event Date Confirmed and Contract Signed. 2. June 9th- 50% Deposit Made for Family Event. 3. August 15th - Final numbers confirmed with Cravings. 4. August 19th ? Final Payment Made 5. August 21st ? Cravings fails to show for theevent leaving guests waiting 2 hours for a dinner that never arrived. Phone calls were not returned on that day orsince. 6. August 23rd ? Received a full refund. Failure to Deliver or Failure of Character? Choosing not to follow through on acommitment happens, but choosing to avoid taking responsibility for your choice is worse. Leaving your client to suffer whenyou could have made other arrangements and not returning their distress calls, is unconscionable. We had the pleasure of working with the team from Cravings for our wedding. This included bar service, hors doeuvres, dinner,... dessert, and late night food options for over 100+ guests. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared and presented. Cravingsalso placed a special focus on finding as much locally sourced product as possible. Their hospitality staffing for the event wasfilled with dedicated, hardworking, polite and kind hearted individuals. Cravings is incredible!! The food that comes out of this amazing place will leave you speechless, and wanting more! Today we... ran an ice diving course down at Centennial Beach. Sean and Ashley brought down about 8-10 pizzas for the whole crew. They hadcreative names, which were the 3 digit airport designation codes, each of which represented a flavour explosion representativeof that city. We couldn?t get enough. It?s rare that I?d say I?d have paid twice as much for restaurant food, but this wouldhave been worth every penny. Sean and Ashley... congratulations on creating something really special. Our family received the thanksgiving meal for 6-8 people from cravings. It was amazing !! There was more than enough food for 6... people plus leftovers. My kids especially loved the roasted vegetables. The turkey was so moist and flavourful. The gravy wasperfection. I can?t tell you how impressed I was with the quality of the food. I will be disappointed when the leftovers runout. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an elevated home cooked meal. Read more
I ordered a sandwich without onion, because I have reactions to onion, and when I bit into it, it had onion. I returned it, and... they didn't have a sandwich to replace it, but gave us chicken fingers instead. Also, there was no air condition in the place,which made purchasing some food tangly, especially if there was something that could melt. I'm not impressed! Read more
High quality food great service and set up at Quayles brewery for our wedding event. Guests commented it was the best butternut... squash soup they had ever had! Enjoyed it very very much. No regrets going with Cravings. Would definitely have them cateranother event for us. Read more
