I quite literally just ordered nachos from them and they are SO good and so full of toppings. I've eaten more than I should have... and it barely looks like I made a dent!!! The staff were all really sweet and helpful when I went in too! Read more

The first thing I noticed when I walked in to this restaurant was the dirty-looking carpet on the floor. There was food under... the table as well. I was a bit grossed out by this. The food was fairly good, but expensive. Most dishes are $20 plus, even fora sandwich & fries. Ordered the superfood salad. It consisted mainly of mixed greens with a light dressing and a few chickpeas, edamame, dried cranberries, but was missing the quinoa. Not a very substantial salad. Service was nice & the coffee wasexcellent. Probably won?t return too quickly as we just stopped in after a round of golf at the Horseshoe Resorts? mediocre golfcourse. Read more

Female Server Complaint About Poor Service To the manager, I am writing this complaint regarding the food and service at your... restaurant. On behalf of my family, I would like to highlight a few points regarding this issue. We had early dinner at yourrestaurant on July 16, 2022 - Saturday. We expected to have a great time at your restaurant, but unfortunately, we didnot. This female server at your restaurant behaved rudely and unprofessionally. She is a white female, with light pinkbalyage/highlighted long hair, around mid to late thirties, 5'5 or 5'6 height who works at the outdoor patio. We had to wait fora long before we could place the orders. She spoke rudely while taking the orders. She rudely told us to move to the other tablefar away from the other customers while she was giving us racial and discriminatory remarks about us being "these brown people"with a condescending attitude and high tone of voice. You can actually identify her right away with the description statedabove as she was last seen staying inside at the Kawartha Ice Cream shop at the patio with another server with black hair laterthat day. You can go figure that out easily who it was with the color of her hair. Poorly cooked food is another issue thatmade us regret visiting your restaurant. We were surprised to find out that the chicken in the curry bowl that we had orderedwere still raw. The chicken tasted a bit sour, and the vegetables was badly cooked. We complained about the food to your staff, but they refused to respond. Besides the poorly served food, we also felt uncomfortable with the unhygienic conditions at yourrestaurant. The food was stale. These awful conditions are harmful as they might get food poisoning and other healthproblems. The service was very pathetic and ruined our beautiful evening. I insist you recruit well trained and well-behavedstaff who knows how to behave with the customers. Thank you. Yours sincerely Thomason Delta Read more

The short version: when you eat here, expect to get mediocre food that is overpriced with good service. My family and I dined... in here for lunch, after a morning of skiing to warm up and fuel up before heading back out onto the slopes. There's nothingelse in the area except the on-resort dining options unless you're willing to drive 10-15 minutes away, so you're a captiveaudience when staying here. So, it's expected that prices would be quite high, as you're also paying for the convenience ofwalking straight in off the slopes, then you can head straight back out. That convenience is undeniable. The food, however, wasless than impressive. I don't need, and wouldn't expect a gourmet meal when I'm out on the slopes, but I'd like to enjoy my mealif I'm paying so much for it. The highlight of the meal was the mozza sticks. Everyone loved the appetizer and we could easilyhave had another order. Crispy batter on the outside without being too greasy and soft, melted cheese that strings out whenyou're taking a bite. Sadly, it was all downhill from there. Both the grilled chicken and black bean avocado burgers were bland, and the chicken was dry. My daughter had the penne with alfredo sauce, which I tried, and it was like eating plain pasta. Theywere at least able to get the fries right though, as you could tell they were freshly prepared - hot and crispy without beingburnt or reheated. My son's pizza was decent, if a bit doughy. The service was great. The staff was friendly and very attentivethroughout our meal, so that was a plus. I just wish they did a better job on the food. We even specifically avoided dishes likethe big bowls as pubs like to add them to the menu since they have become so popular, but they generally do better at cooking upthe comfort foods like burgers and fried stuff. Maybe go even safer and stick with a hamburger or fish and chips? In the end,if I visit the resort again in the future, I'd still consider returning here, but the main fact Read more
