This place has really gone down hill. Thinly sliced frozen sashimi, nothing tasted fresh at all. The fish had almost a sour... taste to it . It used to be amazing back in the day. Diamond Sushi used to be a regular place for us but I think we will have to find a new AYCE sushi restaurant. The food took... forever to come out and the cooked, ?hot? foods were ice cold and many were inedible. Many things we ordered never came out. Wewaited for 30+ mins after asking for our bill before we had to ask again. We ended up leaving hungry because we just couldn?twait any longer. Definitely was not worth the $70. Read more
Just OK. Not very fresh fish the 5 or 6 times we?ve tried them. They are heavy on the rice in their rolls. Their ?salad? is... literally just lettuce. They also don?t know their own menu well, as whenever I asked if X was gluten free or if they had X orY, or whatever, the answer was always, ?I?ll go ask? Read more
Have been eating at Diamond Sushi for several years, both take out and dine in, and it will always be in the future.. the price... for all you can eat is reasonable, the food is always amazing with good service! Highly recommend for sushi restaurant inBarrie!!! Read more
Super friendly service even with the Covid pandemic. I would recommend this place. I have eaten here two times now and the food... is excellent. They have take out, dine in, and all you can eat.. My spicy miso soup had a piece of beef in it. I ordered the chirashi bowl and it was depressing to look at. Please google what a... bowl is supposed to look like then see the picture attached. 5-stars for the food. I was really happy with quality and taste. I'm taking away 3-stars for the arrogant and indiffent... service. The wait staff clarly have no work ethic. I would definitely eat here again once the wait staff are replaced withrobots. Read more
