The food at the Wellington location in Barrie tastes different from other locations, like Angus and Alliston. The chicken... quality is much lower and they seem to use a weaker mix of spices. I won't be ordering from Wellington any longer. I prefer theactual taste of Mary Browns. Read more

This location has a great cook on duty, which is super important at Mary Browns because they actually MAKE the food at the... location. Today the chicken was excellent and the famous taters were spot on. Mary Browns is hands down the best fried chickenin Canada. Went here for lunch with my son and mother. They didn't have water, or a pop that was new and advertised, fine I get it no... problem. I ordered 2 pop in chickens and 2 sides ,3 deserts. When I left and drove away to eat our lunch at a park, we realizedit was only one chicken meal. The pop water I got wasn't in the combo and paid for it seperate which was annoying. Then whenwe got home to eat our desert, they forgot one which I paid 3.50 for. The girl that helped us apologized and said sorry she wasnew. Next time help her because she knew nothing.
