Service...food...atmosphere, loved it all. First time visiting, but will not be the last for sure.
Can?t say enough good things about midway. Discovered this place in 2017 on my way back from boots and hearts. Found it by... mistake and man was it a good mistake! Best breakfast ever! Homemade bread, huge farmers sausages, a great menu selection andawesome service! I live 3 hours away but I make this my post boots and hearts yearly tradition! Ordered for pickup and the heavy smoker in the back eyed me and looked like she wanted to square up. Owner was rude as can be... and you can tell by all the responses to reviews. Everyone there needs to take a breather and focus on good service cause thefood was decent. Read more
2022 July 3.5? A small restaurant serving the community. There's about 8 to 10 tables in all. Step inside and it's a bit retro... with the theme of a Midway dinner as the name suggests. Breakfast wrap $8.99 It's ok. Nicely done. Pretty much asexpected. BLT $7.99 Bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Pretty standard faire here. Nothing bad. Done well. Breakfast poutine$11.99 The hash itself is cut up potatoes pan fried. Would be better if it was deep fried IMO. The peameal bacon adds a goodsaltiness in the poutine. The eggs were done very well. Overall not bad. Just so happens to be on front of a bus stop. Alsoconveniently located near centennial beach. Note - on Weekends they only serve breakfast. Worth a visit. Read more

I grew up in Barrie and for whatever reason I was never introduced to midway and how great it was. I moved across the street... from the restaurant and since trying it (finally).. I keep coming back, the food is consistently fantastic! Love this place andit's atmosphere! Read more
