This restaurant has the best Pad Thai in Barrie in my opinion. It is always consistently excellent; very tasty, generous... portions and perfectly cooked. My hubby and I both ordered cold/fresh rolls, I ordered the shredded beef(very good and flavourful)with rice and curry pad... thai(haven't tried it yet)and hubby had seafood dish which he enjoyed. Had a really delicious experience here today! Ordered the lunch special: coco peanut chicken, with a spring roll, wonton soup... and steamed rice. The coco peanut chicken was really delicious, the sauce was very flavourful and everything was fresh. Thewonton soup was equally as delicious, and I loved the spring roll. Will definitely be coming back whenever I am in the area witha craving for Thai food to try other menu items! Read more
I read a lot of good reviews so I drove for half an hour to get food at this place. I ordered from the Thai menu. I love Thai... food. So, I ordered coconut rice, which is coconut cooked in coconut milk, satay chicken skewers, peanut chicken and freshspring rolls. The attendant asked if I wanted chicken in the rice. I specifically said I just wanted plain Thai coconut ricemade with coconut milk. No peas, egg, carrots in it. Just the rice, cooked "Thai style in coconut milk". I said that threetimes. She seemed in a hurry and said yeah, yeah. Then she hung up when I was about to ask how she wanted me to pay. Anyhow, Iwent to pick it up and am greatly disappointed. They gave me stir fried rice with eggs in it. Not even a hint of coconut. The"fresh" spring roll was dried out and hard to eat. The satay skewers were so dry and leathery that it was not possible to eat.Finally, the peanut chicken had a few thin slices of chicken only on the top layer. Thecrest was mostly onions and mushrooms insauce. This last dish tasted very good, but it was a rip off with so little chicken. Plus, the attendant had her mask underher nose the entire time she dealt with me and handled the machine. Really!?!!! Just now I decided to read the lowest ratingsin here and see similar complaints. I'm so sick and tired of restaurants treating their customers with food like this. CLEAN THE SHRIMP. Take the time to clean your... shrimp, because this is actually DISGUSTING. I also found a black hair in my chicken fried rice. This is not right! Especiallywhen customers is what makes your business bloom. When I see that the chef's are not taking time to properly clean the shrimp, Ican only imagine what the kitchen may look like and how it is being maintained. This is unacceptable and we won't be returning.The food is flavorless. I would not consider this authentic Thai cuisine at all. People deserve to know what they are going tobe served that's why I have attached a pic of the shrimp I recieved in my Singapore Noodles. Qing?s Cuisine offers great customer service and top notch Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese food options. Food is flavourful,... plentiful, and fresh. Their fried rice is perfect consistency. Breaded items are lightly breaded so you enjoy more meat with alight, crispy coating. We order from them almost weekly and are never disappointed. Fave dishes: Sweet and Sour Chicken,Chicken Fried Rice, and Lemongrass Pork Chops. We have enjoyed all dishes ordered to date. Read more
Best Asian food around! The food here is nothing but fresh and amazing. The portions are great for the price.
