The place has a nice japanese vibe to it. The food served is delicious, the ingredients are fresh though the staff is not that... welcoming....i wanted to try their food so ordered variety of items and the server is asking "Are you sure". I usually don't give 1 star but this restaurant is a place I would not spend my money on again. When I first walked in, the... servers did not seem to like our party for some reason. The staff provided extremely bad service by asking "ARE YOU SURE" whenwe ordered from the all you can eat menu. Making things worse, they kept walking by my table staring at my party for noreason. The final straw is when the sushi came, there were some bugs on the sushi. The sushi itself was decent, however theyserved it with enough rice to fill you up fast. I would recommend going to any restaurant in Barrie for all you can eat sushi. Read more
Went a week ago and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and speedy to arrive. The servers took care of us whenever we... needed something. Nothing was missed off of our order and came out as it was ready rather than all at once. Really delicioussushi and other bits. Was excellent for my vegan friend as well as my friend who doesn't eat raw fish, given the diversity ofwhat they offered. Would highly recommend. I will be back. :) Read more
This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been too.. if I?m being honest. The ONLY one I go to. Not only is the food... amazing, but the service is also amazing. Wendy is a great manager and remembers me every time I come in with my husband. I willnever not go to this place. I?m so happy that I found this amazing place, and everyone should try it out. Absolutely horrible here. The service is terrible, not only are they rude and ignorant, but they walk right passed you or tell... you to find someone else as they supposedly ?don?t have time for you?. They throw the food on the table to the point it spillseverywhere. The mussels had a baby crab in it, we all lost our appetite after seeing that. I was nothing but nice when askingfor assistance, and I got the worst possible treatment from the employees. Probably the worst experience I?ve ever had in arestaurant. I ordered sushi and sashimi for dinner last night....the delivery was very quickly! And the food is delicious....and pretty... ?love it...will visit the restaurant soon....but recently I was ordered for delivery...they gave me wrong order not once buttwice..the first time I called them back but one of staff argued with me ..didn't solved the problem. And today they exchangedit . I don't know how many BAD reviews will getting the owner's attention...I gave the 5 stars before but now I changed to 1star..so probably I would never order again. I?ve both enjoyed dine-in lunch & dinner as well as take-out from Sakana House sushi. I thoroughly enjoy it each time. I find... the service is quick & thoughtful, the sushi fresh & tasty, and the restaurant clean & COVID safe. This is definitely the bestAYCE sushi in Barrie; but they fill up quickly-so get yourself on the waitlist! I would highly recommend ???? Read more
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in barrie, food is very good and have a great selection. Service is very prompt even when... busy my only complaint would be boundaries with the staff and small children. It doesn't bother me too much that they wereholding my 9 month old daughters hand and are very understanding if you say please don't but something to be mindful of. Theymean no harm.
