My son and I driven 3 hours to drop off a rental in Barrie. Beautiful city! Decided to have lunch but wanted something off the... chain and local. Cozy, clean and friendly restaurant. I was told everything was home made. And it really is.. I had a soup andsandwich lunch, sandwich was fully loaded BLT on rye and Italian wedding soup. Both were absolutely amazing. Best Italianwedding soup I ever had! Portions were perfect as well. My son had a kids burger with fries. He inhaled the burger and had halfhis fries. The cheese on his burger... perfectly gooey. He loved it, he said its better than dad's homemade burger ( ha.Hopefully he doesn't see this) I ended up pulling the parent card and had some of his fries. Amazingly fresh and hot food within minutes of ordering. The Eggs Benny was on point with the Hollandaise sauce, which is harder... to find than you would expect.
