We went for breakfast March 17th. My son and I ordered the sage omelette and my husband ordered the farmers breakfast. We got... our sage omelette . The omelette was so small and not to mention big uncooked pieces of broccoli. When we cut into it it wasrunny and uncooked. We told the waitress and she apologized and asked us if we wanted another omelette. We just asked to fry ussome eggs over medium. They came back running and not mention my husband found a piece of tinfoil in his potatoes. Again thewaitress handled it very well, as did we. It was unfortunate and we will not return. My wife and I went for breakfast and had an excellent experience. I had the eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. The fresh fruit... was ripe and delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. This restaurant is much better than Cora's for breakfast, and Iwould not hesitate to go back. Read more
My teen.kids just left this place wanting to go for a nice meal and on Feb 23 2019 at 17:00 they encountered the rudest server... ever( I am sure the manager knows who ). Snippy with them asking them if they wanted take out box not even half way throughtheir food and asked them to pay up while they were still eating. I am assuming the restaurant has litttle tolerance towardsyoung people eating there without mom and dad. The nice thing here would be to give them a refund unless young people don?tmatter ? Read more
Amazing food and dining experience! We were a group of 5 and all have different preferences. The food was incredible. I had the... tandoori wrap on naan bread and tomato basil soup and it was out of this world! Highly recommended. We drove from Toronto for Glow Barrie and this was the highlight of our trip. This location's lovely decor and friendly staff make me want to offer it a four star rating. The seating and lighting is... comfortable and the servers are incredibly sweet. My falter with it is the quality and quantity of their food. I have been onseveral occasions, and each time I was underwhelmed. The home fries are often undercooked, and the fruit offered in a variety ofdishes from crepes to sides to cocktails are incredibly hit or miss - sometimes, perfectly lovely selections! But more oftenthan not, I have found them to be rather unappetizing (bruised, squished, or otherwise). Portions are also small; the spinachdip appetizer is to die for, but there's never enough naan to go around, let alone to eat all the dip with. Expecting more naanto be complimentary (totally normal in my experience at other restaurants), we were charged for the extra naan, just to notwaste the dish we had paid for! It would be understandable to charge for more if we had been given enough to go around in thefirst place. I could point out other small problems, but it all just repeats the bigger issue. This location's servers again,are superb, so if you're not desperate to get your money's worth and just want somewhere nice to eat, this is where I'drecommend. Read more
