Worst experience!!!???????? the food quality was disgusting i got sick after eating the other night. The quantity of the food is... also very low and no proper customer service. The owners and the workers were shouting out each other and having issues witheach other which made the atmosphere bad up at that time. We found this restaurant a bit expensive and the food wasn't at the level you expect after you are charged so much for it. We... tried the mutter paneer and chicken Tikka Masala and it tasted average. My biggest satisfaction with the food was the butterNaan, while it looked fresh for some reason it was extremely dry. Wow!! We have Tara a couple of times per year, but haven't had for about 5-6 months. It was the BEST we have ever had. We had... the chicken tika Masala, lamb bhoona , beef madras, chicken Biryani, nan bread, keen nan, mixed veggie curry and sheek kabob.The chunks of chicken, beef and lamb were hearty in all the dishes. My guess wanted Indian food. They are very familiar with Indian dish, order all the time in Thunder Bay. They found this place... expensive with little food. Normally dishes come with rice & bread. Only some dish did. The sauce was greasy & watery.we had 2chicken $21.99 each, 1 lamb $22, 1 soup $7, 2 rice 6.99 each, bread. Total was $98. What a ripoff, food had no taste. Neveragain. Read more

Absolutely rudest person I?ve ever spoken too. Owner called us ?liars? when our $170 order didn?t include naan bread. Owner had... the audacity to scream at us on the phone, and again when I drove to the restaurant for a second time to get my food. Refusingto fulfil the order or refund us. Portions were the smallest I?ve ever seen. I highly advise people to AVOID Tara at all costs.Many other equally as good Indian restaurants in Barrie with far superior customer service. Read more
