Visited the farmhouse restaurant after almost 3 years and it's still really good. Really good, polite and helpful customer... service. Food didn't take too long and everything was good. We had the beef dip sandwich with fries and the Thai curry soup,bruschetta and eggs Benedict with chicken. Definitely worth visiting this place if you're in town. Read more
The Ingredients in every plate are high quality, fresh, crisp and cleverly chosen. The preparation and execution of each item is... very good. The bartender makes very good mojitos. The menu is a bit limited. The portions are a bit small, especially with thesalads in the jars. It looks need in jars but I want more salad at these high prices. The overall value is low. You are payinggood money for very small portions. The seared Atlantic salmon was remarkably small but cooked perfectly. Read more
Second time at The Farmhouse! It was excellent again. We celebrated our anniversary there over dinner (which I did say when we... booked but there was no acknowledgement of the occasion at all). Oyster service was fantastic! The roe is a nice addition. Weboth had entress that were cooked well. My pork was ridiculously delicious. Baked potatoe is DEADLY. Salad was warm and a bitsoggy - which was too bad because it was my favourite thing on my first visit. Cocktail was a little on the strong side. Serverwas very friendly and swift. First time visiting this restaurant (it was recommended by a friend). Service was prompt and friendly. Perhaps food options... could expand a bit (it was slightly disappointing to not see more chicken and fish items). Portions are good. You get two sideswith an entree, it’s awesome to see there’s no surcharge to “upgrade” like in so many establishments. We had fries(crispy), mac & cheese (cheesy but a bit bland) and seasonal veggies (this was EXTREMELY salty…) Side note, the dining roomfloor was sticky all over for some reason but overall a pleasant experience and would stop by again when I’m in Barrie.???????? This was my first time at Farmhouse in Barrie and I fell in love! Great service and the food was amazing. We are definitely... going back. We got oysters.. didn't get a picture they didn't last long. We ended up getting muscles as well because someonenext to us got them and they smelled so good so we got them too they were also delicious. Got the tenderloin for dinner with theseasonal veggies and smashed potatoes. Portions were perfect and we all had clean plates. I went to the farmhouse for the first time today. The view was nice, my food was ok. As you can see in the picture, the... presentation was poor.
