Don?t get the chicken and waffles. The chicken was basically the Italian spiced flavoured cutlets they use for their chicken... parm stuff. It tasted like it had been sitting all day. I have taken my 92 year old father here a couple of times now. We love it because it's sparkly clean, and we can hear each... other talk without having to shout over loud music, the staff are very kind, friendly and attentive. There is a wonderfulselection of tasty food, the prices are very reasonable and because my father says 'I like it here', we'll be regulars! Read more

I have been to many Wympys and this one is by far the worst one. My wife ordered the haddock dinner that comes with fries and... salad. Only got the salad and she was told they had the creamy Greek dressing and when the food arrived she was then told theyactually don't have it. It would have been nice to have been told this before because she would have gotten a totally differentmeal. I paid over$ 50 not including a tip for a mediocre dinner and my burger was on special. Waited 25 minutesfor food. Our waitress was lovely but the manager waitress was chewing gum the whole time with her mouth open (while servingpeople), wiping her nose and then TOUCHING AND PUTTING AWAY clean dishes WITHOUT washing her hands or sanitizing (we could seeeverything from our booth), and just overall not practicing any sort of hygiene. I came here today with my Fiancee because our power was out and we were hungry. We both got the fried chicken Belgium waffle... eggs Benedict and we each had a beer and got an order of onion rings too. The food was delicious and the beer was cold! We wereimpressed with how they're made it clear where you can and can't sit, along with what direction to walk in. They have a Covidtracking sheet to add your info to at the front along with sanitizer. We could tell it was way busier than expected due to theoutage. Horrible service. After our order was taken the server never once came back. I had to bug 3 other servers for a water, then... extra toast then the bill! The person who did take my order didn't seem to know the menu. The hashbrowns are mushy anddisgusting. The cups had chips in them. The bathrooms are in need of a serious Reno as they look like they are falling apart!Whimpys used to be a great place now it's all around HORRIBLE.
