The meal itself was delicious, but we were handed our check immediately after the meal instead of being offered dessert and... coffee. When we asked if we could order dessert, we were told it would take about 30 minutes due to being short-staffed. Icompletely understand, but it's odd that we weren't at least given the option to order dessert when ordering dinner. Read more
We have been ordering out from them since early in the pandemic. Over 2 years. The quality of the food went from great to... inconsistent to bad. We have complained about a variety of problems but remained loyal. I always order the same dish (friedfish) and it is like a different person cooks it each week. What is maddening is that they have not once offered anaccommodation. Last night they forgot my husband?s entre. He had to go back and get it and they didn?t even offer a freeappetizer or dessert for our trouble. I hope you get it together or act like you care about our business. But we are done! Read more
I don't get up this way often. I have eaten here twice over the past few years and highly recommend this farm to table... restaurant. During the most recent meal I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner. It is nice to support independentlyowned, local resaurants. This place is amazing! Went there for the first time the other night and was blown away! The establishment itself is such a... quaint/classy place. The service itself is impeccable. The food itself is just so unique - so many interesting flavors that allwork together. You can tell they?ve put so much thought and detail into their dishes. There are plenty of 5-star dining experiences, and then there was our dinner yesterday evening at Farmhouse. I don't even know... where to begin. The venue -- inside and outside -- was terrific. They even had decorative sounds baffles to deaden the soundthat would normally be quite loud off of a wooden floor. Nice detail, and they matched the farm / country decor. The food wasall outstanding, for each of the three of us. Check the photos of the three different entrees that we enjoyed. And while wealmost never order dessert when dining out, one look at the dessert menu and we decided that we HAD to include it. The LemonDelight was delightful, and the Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding? It now holds a place in my top 5 of all-time best desserts. Read more
We loved the idea of locally sourced, but they didn't deliver. We tried the eye of round with horseradish topping, potatoes,... and mushrooms. Eye of round is a challenging cut, but their rendition was inedible and the horseradish topping was dry andflavorless. If it wasn't for the potatoes and mushrooms we would have hit taco bell on the way home. The service was spottywhen needed and would hover when not needed. This is our second try at this restaurant and both times they came up lacking. Read more
