Our family and friends had a party here the other night and let me tell you the food was amazing! Great atmosphere too. The... staff was over-the top friendly and catered to everyone in the place. Even walked my elderly neighbor safely to his carafterwards with his cane and to-go-box! He was so happy to bring the treats home for later. Thank you Sandra. You have a friendthere. Our family has been to this ?pub? about 10 times , so we have tried just about everything on the menu, the best dishes are below... average but most are just bad versions of pub grub classics. The atmosphere is not welcoming, staff are kids, Guinness isterrible. Not going back Read more
They must have had an off day after reading other reviews. Mid afternoon nibbles and the wife orders a chicken sandwich with... sweet potato fries. Except for a few people at the bar the place was empty. Took 40 minutes to get food. Wife about to take abig bite and noticed a long hair hanging out of the cheese. The offer to remake the sandwich and she asks for no pepper as thehairy chicken was heavily peppered. After a good while they redeliver the chicken (by now I am done eating) and this one hasmore pepper. I hope this was just a bad day for them. We will not return again. Read more
We had large party here in the upstairs room and they were very accommodating! Food was definitely better than average with... really tasty beer cheese pretzels and sliders. Would highly recommend coming here for any large party of between 100-150 people! Read more
Nice pub with a great pub atmosphere. Food is okay. Appreciate that they had curry sauce for the chips. That is something... we?ve missed. Shepherd pie actually had lamb and was meaty. Read more
We all 3 loved our food! He had a BLT, she had a shepherd?s pie and loved the spices, and I had a chicken club. Even the tater... tots were perfectly crunchy. Service was excellent even tho we sat outside. ( altho I wouldn?t recommend it, too many trains!????) Read more
Came here for the first time and was very surprised! Their onion and ale (French onion soup) was out of this world! Shepards pie... was delicious as well. We ordered sweet potato fries and was pleased with the generous serving with their curry. The only thingI would say that fell a little short was the corned beef and cabbage where few strips of the beef was good and was very toughand chewy. Only one piece melted in the mouth. We showed up with a family of 4 and an hour before a movie started. The waitress was super helpful getting all of our food and... giving us recommendations. The food was great. The space was a lot of fun. Very Irish bar with a good beer list. A good place toeat with great service. We are going to go back again. Read more
