We went there to hang out and listen to the DJ and we were not disappointed!!! Great food and low lights and music with an... awesome vibe!! I?ve always enjoyed the good food and atmosphere at Crossing second until last night. They advertise as a place that everyone is... welcome so we took our grandkids to the recreation area. The kids were not acting out, unruly, or unsupervised.The owner Doncame over and did not want the kids touching anything. So if your planning on going it?s not a family friendly place. This was by far the worst food for the money I?ve ever had! I ordered the Grandmas ?pot roast? which is not pot roast at all, it... was (three) paper thin small slices of grisly fat brisket which was not even edible! And the ?crispy? potato latke was soggy,soaked with brisket barbecue sauce! It went right in the trash! I also ordered the PEACH BREAD PUDDING that was supposed to havea bourbon sauce topped with ice cream. The tiny amount of sauce was stuck to the foil it was sitting on, no ice cream, just achunk of dried bread pudding that I did not see one peach! It also went straight to the trash! A little fancy for me, However their small portion plates are reasonably priced and excellent. Super friendly staff and bar... tenders absolutely hustle and still are friendy. The have all sorts of table games and board games and a back room area with somuch more. Seems to be a family friendly place that could easily become a go to, with a full service bar ????. Read more
I really like the concept here. The portion sizes even for being small plates are incredibly tiny. I don?t eat a lot in one... sitting, but still felt unsatisfied after eating two small plates. My husband got the meatloaf sandwich, which was moresubstantial than anything I got. I don?t know that I?d return just because nothing about the food really stood out except thetiny portion size. It was alright. It took awhile to get our food, but I did enjoy the quirky atmosphere. We ended up eating asecond dinner a few hours later. Read more
Stumbled upon Crossing 2nd while on a vacation with my sisters. Such an awesome place! Food was great (any mistakes were... corrected promptly), staff was incredibly friendly, and Karaoke was a blast!! Definitely a must! Read more
We notified them earlier that a large group was going to arrive after a visitation and they weee completely unprepared. Other... than one server they were rude and inconsiderate. They treated the group as a whole as completely unappreciated for spendingtheir hard earned money on food and drinks. I particular they were slow service and their mannerisms and facial expressions wereinconsiderate and rude. This is the second time I have gone there and both times it has been the same. I can honestly say I willnot ever go to this establishment again. Even one star is overrated as you can?t give zero or a negative. Read more
