We had a delicious meal tonight. We arrived at a very busy time of the evening so it took a little extra time to get some of our... food but the staff was apologetic and came back to make sure that we had everything. The fresh, hot fries were worth the wait!There was a lady there who was visibly upset that her takeout order wasn?t ready fast enough to suit her. We watched the staffhandle her with kindness and patience and in a very professional manner. Great job! Read more
Worst ribs and brisket I?ve ever tried to eat. I give this two stars only because the the pulled pork was literally edible. But... the taste was not good. But it was actually edible. The brisket and ribs - you couldn?t eat it - it was so burnt up and sopoorly cooked my husband and I couldn?t even eat it. Waste of money. The sauce isn?t a good flavor. I will never be back. Iwill say, my brother in law does say the burgers here are good but I?ll never find out. Sorry Tops. Read more
Update: still going strong! Always great employees. Memphis-area chain with good bbq and great burgers. The burger is like the... best burger you've had at a neighborhood bbq. The bun is sturdy; shredded lettuce, cheese, pickles, chopped onions, and mayo arethe standard toppings. Creamy coleslaw, crispy crinkle fries, and an awesome fried apple pie. Worst experience I have ever had at a Tops location and I have been to them all. I had a pork plate (9.99) and the beans were... cool and appeared straight out of the can other than the added pork fat. There was no bark at all in the meat. I was hooked on Top's BBQ when I visited the Summer Ave location. I even ordered the same thing from the Bartlett location, and... I was still mad because I wasted $17.55. My gut told me to drive to the Summer location, but I thought it would have the sametaste with equal food, but I was wrong: 1. Bartlett gave me 2 1/2 bones, while Summer location gave me 4 nice cuts. 2. Thebaked beans lacked seasoning or meat chunks like the Summer location, as you can see in the photo. 3. The hamburger buns justfell apart like old dry bread. 4. The Summer location will give you nice toasted thick slices of bread. How can two locationswith the same name taste so different? I thought it would be good with the number of cars in line all the time and the smoke inthe air, but it should be on the meat. If you are reading this and thinking about Top's on Bartlett, take the extra ride and hitthe Summer Ave location, and you will not be sorry. Time at drive through 6:38 pm July 2, 2021.
