The fried pickles and quesadila were good. My husband had the wings and they were huge. Could have had a little more sauce on... them but otherwise they were cooked and tasted like chicken. Good portions. The ranch is okay, I've had worse definitely andhave also had better. Overall we liked it. Not our favorite bar food place but we're new to the area and are still experimentingthe local cuisine. Read more

One of the Peoria area's true hidden gems. Outstanding service and delicious food. The left part of the establishment is a... restaurant with tables and in a section to the right is a long bar also with table seating and slots. The mushroom appetizersare hand crafted masterpieces. These are homemade and coated with a seasoned batter. They are superb. After you taste these,all other mushrooms (particularly the frozen, poured from a bag variety) will pale in comparison. They are in my opinion thebest available. The hammer burger is a full half-pound of succulent beef with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, andbarbeque sauce. It is excellent. My waitress was friendly, prompt, attentive, and had a sense of humor. For a combination ifgreat food and service, Hammer's fits the bill. I'll be back and I recommend trying it. Read more
