Great new place! Host with a smile and so nice when we walked in ????. We all ordered fish and all of it was fresh and... excellent! The service was outstanding - they all seemed happy to be there and ready in flash to serve you. Portions were fair. The ONLY thing that needs attention; Shrimp cocktail - An appetizer shrimp cocktail should be (Like H2Ocean in Morris Plains-sogood!) at least 3 Jumbo shrimp cocktail. If a bit smaller - 4 …..The 3 shrimp served were so small I thought I received thecocktail sauce first and was waiting for the Shrimp to come…. Only to find 3 tiny shrimp under lettuce. Tried Blu Crete for the first time for dinner tonight and it was excellent! We had the escargot and it was tender and tasty. ... Also had the Organic Chicken with Risotto and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Dinner was served with a Foccacia type bread and freshmarinara sauce which was so fresh. Portions were ample and everything tasted delicious. Service was great and the owner took thetime to sit with us to discuss his new business venture. Considering it was only the THIRD night ithey were open, they did agreat job! We have missed Veneto's and are glad to have a new restaurant in the Hills. Definitely recommend Blu Crete! Read more
Just had take out. Could not have been more disappointed. Calamari looked like 1/3 of an order greasy and more peppers than... calamari. Grilled shrimp and sautéed spinach. No way those THREE YES ONLY THREE shrimp were grilled. There would be grillmarks? Oh by the way they charged $17 for 3 shrimp and a few pieces of spinach. First time ordering from here will not beback. Read more
