This is a great first stop if you are planning something outdoors. Less of a sit-in resturaunt and more of a take-away shop.... Pick your food off the shelves (make sure you check the specials) and take it to the front where you get your coffee. They'llheat everything up for you to go. You can sit (inside and outside), but they keep to paper/plastic plates & cutlery. Don'texpect the full resturaunt experience. The food is very high quality with generous portion sizes. Everything is delicious! For a small place, they have a coffee shop selection of drinks (coffee, chai, etc), amazing hot lunch... dishes, a wide selection of ready to go sandwiches, soups and salads, and homemade frozen dinners. The owners and employees areas nice as can be, and, again, the food can?t be beat! Read more

Pulled off Interstate 287 and found Priscilla's Pantry in Basking Ridge, NJ. The people are very friendly and I tried the egg... and cheese with their home made roll and it was delicious. The building was charming and had a fireplace and plank wood floorsin the dining area with red metal tables and chairs. Priscilla made the giant red Adirondack chair which sits outside thebuilding. We purchased a lemon meringue pie, blueberry scone and chicken salad to take home. I will definitely come back and theexperience was very welcoming. Read more
