Today was my first visit at the Coffee Dog. You can tell right off the bat that this is a local hangout. The owner knows the the... coffee goers (coffee dogs) by name and she has their orders on standby. I got a raspberry and white chocolate scone and a largecappuccino. It hit the spot! The scone fell apart nicely and super sweet. The owner offered to heat up but I declined. I chuggeddown every bit of the cappuccino (the foam and all). They got sugar in the raw in a shaker so a sprinkle of that was all Ineeded. Stop giving Starbucks your money and support your local coffee spot! I will come back again! Read more

Love the small town atmosphere of this place! They are quick and efficient, all the while being nice and making sure you have... everything you need. Good coffee, and even better breakfast, the "Dog Pound" is delicious. Best place to study/work in town! Read more

Good place to have coffee and hang out. But keep your expectations right about their sandwiches, they are $7 and they are made... out of regular square bread. Something like HEB Honey wheat. Really basic sandwiches. Nothing wrong with that. Just be sure youhave your expectations right about that. Coffee was good though. Read more

A Lovely little coffee shop! It's a perfect place to have a date, meeting, or just a little coffee alone time. Their coffee was... pretty good! It wasn't too strong, but you can add more shots to make it stronger if needed. They are the only place I've foundin town that has so many sugar free syrup options, I really appreciate that. Definitely check it out. Read more

This place is a blast from the past for better or worse. I love it for being unpretentious (unlike so many other coffee shops),... and I think the staff and owners are truly good folks. Updating the shop a little certainly wouldn't hurt--I can't stand thepaper plates and styrofoam cups, and everything just feels so dated (coffee art, furniture, signage, even paint colors), butI'll keep coming even if they don't. There aren't many other options in town, and Starbucks just gets more annoying every day.Food and coffee are decent, service is good, pricing is fair, music is pleasant. :) Easy location and parking. The staff was very kind and patient, It was my first time here visiting and had no idea what to expect. The young lady at the... counter was very informative of the menu and suggested the cilantro chicken sandwich. I ended up also ordering a coffee with mysandwich. The food came out in a timely mannered, and the sandwich was perfectly warmed up. The plate came with lays chips as aside and the coffee was delicious. I love the atmosphere and how comfortable it felt to dine in here. Will be back soon.I addedthe hours of business, and some photos to help you decide on your next food destination. Read more

Got a cinnamon roll, iced coffee and iced tea to-go. The cinnamon roll was one of the best we?ve ever had. I split it with my... partner and instantly regretted not getting two. Service was great and prices are reasonable. Will be back soon! Update: we?vebeen back many times since my original post and it?s always delicious! I don?t think I?ll ever go back to Starbucks while CoffeeDog is around :) Read more
