Had dinner here recently and just had to leave a review! The food was pretty good but the service from our waitress was the real... difference maker. Jill was her name and she was so kind and accommodating! We will be coming back! Read more

Spectacular pizza!!! I was amazed at the taste, buttery crust and thick, thick ingredients, and the huge gigantic size of the... pizza. You have to ask for their pizza menu they don't pass it out unless you ask. The price was WOW! SO CHEAP FOR A BIGPIZZA. 16" WITH SAUSAGE PEPPERONI ONION AND GREEN PEPPERS THICK CRUST WAS reasonably priced. We also had the ravioli andsausage meal for an appetizer and it tasted homemade fresh and delicious. Seriously try here to eat. I'm not a drinker but theymake their own wine. Read more

Just had a wonderful lunch at Acquaviva Ristorante Batavia. The artichokes are a can't miss appetizer. The grilled calamari and... octopus were great as well as the tomato caprese salad. The service was very good. All paired with their Prairie Star whitewine, which is grown and produced at their Maple Park winery. My only issues were that the tomatoes in the caprese weren'tripe, a better choice would have been an heirloom variety. The octopus was a little tough. But we will definitely return. What ahidden gem. On a bit of a whim we ended up at Acquaviva. We had been to the winery & restaurant out in Maple Park previously and knew it to... be good. We showed up at 6:30 to dine in and were greeted and seated right away. The menu and specials are Italian and seafood. We ordered the baked clams for an appetizer, the stuffed shrimp special and veal Marsala. Timing was a bit off on the shrimpshowing up at the table but everything was great. Good service in these strange post-covid times and really good entrees. Cannotask for more. Pricing seems a tad high but not bad for this elegant restaurant. Read more

We needed a place to celebrate an anniversary that was local and nice but not overly fussy. This place was perfect. We ordered... both calamari starters as well as shrimp- all were the perfect way to start off our meal. Our dinners we ordered ranged frompasta plates to pizza to a salad as well as a seafood special. All ages (12 to 70) had rave reviews of their meals- that is atough feat. Out waitress was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. Although we live across the country we do come to Bataviaonce a year and will definitely be back. Read more
