Went in on a weekday night within 15 minutes of the kitchen hours close at 11trying to get some food. I work in hospitality too... I get it, but I'm a quick order, and a good tipper! Took a table in the bar, and waited...I was ignored by the bartender, fora few minutes. I got up and searched for anyone else, and got a friendly waitress, they went to ask the kitchen if they werestill serving. I was told "no" at 1050. Promply left.. Hungry and annoyed...Unfortunate. We were here once before and had a great time, good food and drinks, and great service. So for date night tonight we came back... but had really slimy peppers in a humus plate and burnt cookies that we couldn?t even eat. Not sure when or if we?ll come back.???? Read more
Waited 40 minutes for appetizer and asked twice when it will come. Cheese curds were ok but way too expensive for the quantity... of serving. Get more and better ones at Dairy Queen for less money. Ordered fried chicken sandwich and told they are notopening the fryer and it was not available. Only said they could grill it. Not what we wanted. Left without dinner becauseonly had option of a burger or salad - neither of which we wanted. Waitress was not friendly and seemed upset when we askedabout our order and when we tried to order fried chicken. Would not go back again. Le Grande Taco was recommended to us andwe should have gone there. Very disappointment. Left and went to Portillos. Very sad that the evening was ruined. . Read more
These burgers are amazing. Nice and crispy and juicy. Also, the best fried pickles I?ve ever had. They never have a bad tap... list. They support local talent and have great live music! This is my favorite bar in Batavia and it just keeps getting better.Also, the owner is super hard working and community centered. Love this place. Read more
Cute place! Service was awesome, live band (Miles over Mountains) was wonderful, and cocktails/beer were tasty and wide variety.... Venue area is quite small, so was expecting to not be hear each other at the table, but they were the perfect volume to enjoyboth music and company. Food was good, but if you're hoping for any specific items, may be best to call ahead and confirm asthey were out of a few main entrées. For a place labeled as a supper club, I found the portion sizes to be quite small for theappetizers and side of tater tots (this seems crazy, but the tater tot side was literally 6 tots). Minor complaint, but reasonfor not giving 5 stars as this really is a lovely spot! Read more
Amazing outdoor private event space! I wanted an outside space to throw a surprise party for my husband that could accommodate... 40-60 people comfortably and give people room to move around and have different spaces to gather. This. was. perfect. We hadour own private bar and two different levels of space to use that included a stage, low-top tables, and high-top bar stools. Itwas truly the perfect space and we got TONS of compliments on the venue itself. The owners, Melissa and Ryan, were incrediblyeasy to work with and helped us figure out the details of food/drink details super efficiently. They were open to having anoutside DJ, my bringing in a kids table with a bunch of crafts (sorry about the slime remnants), and were kind in answeringpestering emails coordinating details. I would 100% have another event in the beer garden space and hope that I can find anexcuse to do so one day! Thanks Sidecar, for an AWESOME event. Our hat's off to you all. Read more
We went for a girls night out and ended up playing fun bar trivia with a great group of people. Food was good, drinks were good,... service was good. I'll definitely go back! Read more
