Pizza is okay. Service is okay. There were understaffed at our visit so we waited a bit. Server was friendly and doing her... best. Pizza is hand tossed, and pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Mich Ultra comes only in cans FYI....so beprepared to request a glass if needed. Prices are a bit high, I thought, for a local pizza joint. Atmosphere is nothingspecial, but not bad by any means either. I may have given 4 stars had we been able to sit it the larger dining area (with abig flat screen) vs. the somewhat smaller fast food pizza dining area that we were forced to sit in....But I find it hard togive 5 stars to any Pizza Restaurant these days. Seriously, my folks have been coming here for like 65 years. I moved and low key drive the 5 hours with the anticipation of... tearing in to a large pie, will stop just to bring one on my way home... this tastes like my childhood. I know only a fewPontillos do it like the Original... the only thing that could make this better would be them opening a shop in Central Ohio soI have a shorter drive to get a taste of this heaven. I ordered catering over the phone and the staff that took my order were super helpful. The food is pretty affordable for what we... got and it was delicious. They didn?t include serving utensils although I didn?t ask for them but as someone who is from out oftown staying at a hotel serving utensils would have been nice to have. They did provide paper plates and plastic utensils. Wealso have reservations to eat at the restaurant on the patio. They were able to make accommodations for a party of 34 with ease. Read more
I had cheese calzone that was so good tasting ????. My girlfriend had a chicken ???? wrap. She said was ???? delicious. The... waitress was very friendly and did her job well. Only thing we had two sweet ice tea's them seem to be water down. Other thanthat the food was great. I recommend going there if you travel to Batavia. Read more
Decided to walk in on a whim and place an order for take out. Great lit?l place!!! Pizza is fresh and handmade; enjoyed a beer... while I waited and watched them work. Friendly staff. Way better quality than my local ?New York Style Pizza? place back home inCalifornia, and more flavorful. A+. Read more
Not ready for prime time. Ok, not my favorite style of pizza. It?s delivered, how good can it be. Placed an order for a small... pizza and half salad. I specifically said I needed plastic ware, salt and pepper, napkins and Parmesan cheese. She said I betterright this down and I repeated it. I gave my hotel address. I also mentioned I have ordered pizza and salad before and not gotplastic ware. I was told almost $25 and an hour wait. I paid it and waited. It came an hour later and without any of the thingsI requested. I told the delivery person I requested all those things and then asked him how was I going to eat the salad?!?! Hedid offer to go back and get the stuff, really? When you deliver to a hotel you should expect that the customer probably doesn?thave various things that you might at home. Why did they get two stars? The salad was big (not enough dressing) and had ceccibeans (chick peas). The pizza had obviously been made quite some time ago and was just warm. Read more
This place never fails to be awesome! My family often meets up with some friends to have dinner here & this time we met up to... celebrate some birthdays! ???? We were allowed to bring a cake & presents & we had called to reserve our space about a week inadvance! I personally have dietary restrictions & am happy to say they have items that fit my needs. Been coming here foralmosy 30 years & will probably be coming for 30 more! This most recent gathering was my 8 yo daughter's idea as it was forhers & her 2 yo brother's birthdays (as well as one of our friend's). Their medium chicken wings are my daughter's favorite!
