Usually spot on. Friday is fish and ribs on the buffet. Same veggie assortment as we have always loved. Pulled pork with 3... different sauces was delicious today. A different meat alongside the usual every day regulars, which includes fried chicken andpulled pork. As a reminder?closed Wednesday & Sunday. Family owned for over 60 years. It?s a landmark Read more

We've been traveling to this local fixture for 30+ years. Tasty buffet offers several BBQ flavors along with the usual sides,... including their delicious hash & rice. Friday is rib day, dry rub or sauced. The fried chicken has gotten better with time. Thewhite meat is very moist, don't forget to ask your server for a pulley bone. Fried chicken livers and gizzards are availableonly on Tuesday. Why? Shoukd be a daily offering. Always friendly staff. Read more

Not my thing but I understand why it's been around for so long. Huge buffet, huge facility and really well run. They have a sink... as you enter and they ask you to wash your hands, I can appreciate that seeing as it's a buffet. Very affordable, $15 perperson for all you can eat and the food was good. Very old school East Coast cafeteria feel. If you have a large group I can seehow it would be affordable and convenient. Would I go back? Likely not, but again, it's just not my thing. The food was goodand the service was great. Read more

An associate last week recommended good eating at this establishment: I made an hour trip down and taken my wife with me this... evening. The servicing staff was very courteous/ friendly in each manner that I observed. I enjoyed the vegetable, and thechicken livers, wife talked about how good the fresh vegetables were on the salad bar. As far as the meats, other chicken andthe fish were over cooked (and the fish was filleted thin, with crisp fried batter). Good place to stop by if you are still nthe neighborhood, but I personally would not drive an hour just to go there again! Read more

Well... if you don't know about Shealys well just shame on you! As I write this I am taking shallow labored breaths due to the... amount of Southern goodness in my belly. A cornerstone of Leesville that has been around for many generations(been eating here35+ yrs.) Wear your stretchy pants and prepare yourself afterwards for a nap. Their offerings are the expected southern choiceslike Green beans,Butter beans, Collards, Rice,Mashed potatoes with Milk gravy, Creamed corn, Hash(a meat sauce to go overeverything) 3 types of Pork BBQ Mustard base, Ketchup base and Red Pepper Vinegar, Fried Chicken,Country fried steak, Variousdaily specials (Friday RIBS!) Normal salad bar with various bean salads and don't forget the Desert! Peach cobbler,Applecobbler, Banana pudding and Soft serve Ice cream. I would have taken more pictures but was starving and then got into a seriousfood coma. Under $15 a head includes drink. Read more

This place has been open 50 years and is still going strong. A lot of their dishes cannot be found anywhere else. Today I had... liver nips (liver with breading cooked like dumplings only on Thursdays during the winter), fantastic green beans, vinegar andmustard base bbq, pulley bone (the center of a chicken breast with the wish bone), vegetable soup, carrot salad, thin slicedcucumbers with onions in vinegar and their version of potato salad!!!! Wow you have never experienced old timey cooking untilyou?ve tried Shealy?s. BTW grab an ice cream cone (included with buffet) on the way out. Read more
