It's hard for me to believe what passes as Mexican food here in the Midwest. If they tried to open a hothead in San Diego they... would go bankrupt. I ordered a Hawaiian burrito with pork and two beef soft tacos. The burrito was mostly rice and the tacoswere terrible. There was no cheese and the beef was weird. It was gritty like they cut it with cornmeal. I would not recommendthis place to anyone. If there is a Mexican out there that knows how to make southern California taco shop food. Please open arestaurant here in Indiana. You will be rich!!!! Read more
We absolutely love Hot Heads and have to stop every time we come through Ripley County. We've never had a bad experience here.... We came on Friday and again today on our way back through, and both times the managers were super nice and attentive and theemployees seemed to actually enjoy being here. They were out of steak both times and made it fresh for us while we waited, andthe food was good, good, good. It always looks like slop when it's all mixed up, but it's the best. Too bad you guys don't dothe survey on the receipt thing, because we loved it! Read more

I love this place, the staff is always nice and the food is always fresh. The only downfall I would say is pay attention on days... when they have the sales that you actually have your discount taken off. We just ordered yesterday on (sunday) and only 1discount was taken off and we got a total of 4 bowls. Read more
Came at the lunch rush, and was still ordered, made, and seated in less than 10 minutes. Food was fresh, warm, and good. Always... recommend the hothead sauce. The team working made sure our orders were well made, and even double wrapped my burrito after itshowed signs of falling apart. Saw a billboard for this place while on our way home to Kokomo, In from King's Island. Decided to give it a try. We were... pleasantly surprised! We arrived about 45 mins before closing and the place was immaculately clean, the closing gals had thegrill pulled out and spotless all around it, afterwards she was cleaning the vent hood thoroughly - this was huge to us, it toldus that they care about the quality of their food and environment. The gals were very nice and welcoming even being late intotheir shifts. The food quality was excellent. Taste was quite good - more American style flavor but not in a bad way by anymeans. As it was our first time, the gals were very eager to explain all of our options when selecting how we wanted to buildour burrito and bowl. Staff were very unprepared and irritated at me even though there was no one in the restaurant ????. Price was fine but portions... of food were very small and they ran out of steak middle of my order. I ordered a side of chips and queso which wasn't too bad.Overall food experience was ok but not as good as their competitors. Staff was pretty bad and unhelpful which is why I give thisplace 3 stars. Went here on the way back from Cincinnati and the food looked good and tasted good but I wanted to go here because of the owners... dedication to reading his own businesses Google reviews. Which shows they are caring enough to try to address issues. Alsopricing is great compared to other similar restaurants. Keep on making the best burrito you can. :) Read more
