Food was good but my favorite is no longer available. Didn't get chips n dill pickles with the order like it used to be..
Not impressed. Was told the cowboy pizza was best pie they had. The taste was ok but for a pizza that is supposed to have double... mushroom I couldn?t see or taste any. I called to inquire and the manager stated the mushrooms were on the pie but that theywere cut up small. Sorry but double mushroom should be significant enough to be able to identify them by sight and taste whetherthey are cut up or not. The manager did state they ran out of their mushrooms and had to get others which translates to me westill do not have enough to make the product correctly. No offer the prepare it properly or for an alternative product but I atleast got a sorry from the manager. Hopefully this was an off night and not the normal level of product quality or customercare. First review in awhile so it might be long one, so I?ll summarize up front: Simply a fantastic experience!! The food and... service were spot on. Many thanks to Sharon the manager, Christina the server/cashier & Alexis the cook for her deliciouscreations. So. The details. As many know by now, it?s sometimes hard to even find a location whose dining room is open, itdoesn?t matter if it?s fast food or ?fine dining?, staffing shortages and food cost increases have made dining out achallenge. I?ve laid off reviewing for a little while just because in all fairness, many facilities are just trying to keeptheir head above water. With that said, I?m not lowering the bar I?m just saying that this Pizza King set the bar very high forany establishment in the Batesville area or abroad. Including many other Pizza King?s I?ve been to around central Indiana?itwas top notch. Here?s the really important detail, it wasn?t just me and one or two guests, it was a group of 30! Our highschool swim team was swimming down at East Central HS for their annual relay meet. As a tradition, the team always stopssomewhere to eat and connect as a group after the event. Covid made it challenging last year, so unfortunately we had to optout, so this year we made calls in advance and sadly many other establishments believed they wouldn?t be staffed enough toprovide good service. It?s sad to hear from other businesses and we wish them the best, however it was a blessing in disguisebecause this experience was wonderful. Patience goes both ways, especially with high school kids, but the staff did a great jobwith some complex special orders. Every pizza, breadstick, cheesy bread, pasta dish, and sandwich was made perfectly. Askingthe group what they thought afterwards they were amazed at how quickly their food was made and how delicious it was. So againkudos to Alexis, Christina, and Sharon. THE PIZZA IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA! this started in my childhood in a small town in Indiana. I got hooked on the Stromboli at a... young age and then we moved away and I never got to eat it again. We drive about an hour or more out of town just to go get someof this pizza. The pepperoni is a MUST. Also they have delicious tacos and Mt. Dew.
