My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at The Sherman. While there were a few cons, the overall experience was a good one. We... loved the bathroom. The room itself was not extremely sound proof - however, it is a historical building so that isunderstandable. The hotel décor and styling is extremely enjoyable if you enjoy historic buildings. I especially enjoyed therestaurant area. Truly, the restaurant is what put this place over the top for us. The food was 100% amazing! We hadbreakfast here both days of our stay and it was not only delicious but memorable. Our servers were extremely nice and the foodwas worth raving over. If we are ever in the area again (live out of state) we would definitely want to come back here. Read more
Went on a weekday, their forest bar area is pretty ok with really tacky red napkins. Service was not great, either they don't... have enough staff due to pandemic or our server was just having an off day. The pretzel was however to die for with alright fishand chips. The best part was however their Black forest cake. Amazing dessert and a must try, overall I feel that the place hasgone a bit downhill during pandemic as we had visited it in 2017 and it was much better. I hope it revives soon, we were goingto stay there overnight but decided against it as anymore it just gives a vibe as staying in any other 3 star hotel. Read more
Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel! The room was spotless and the best shower head and water pressure ever! Rooms are unique... as described. All the basics. Bathroom is small but so well done that it is not a deterrent. Love location - great coffeeshop adjacent, family pizza place and can walk through downtown area and take in outdoor art exhibits with history as well asthe winter light art exhibit. You won’t regret a stay at The Sherman. Read more
The hotel is renewed and it's in perfect shape now , very very clean and spotless . Check in was kinda not quick that you have... to take some tasks and steps . For the parking , Park outside on main Rd. The place is historic and alot of effort got in it tomake it this shape so it's worth it as try 5 star clean and no other things . Read more
