Portions are small. Our last waitress took forever to get our food on table. It was around 49 minutes after we put in food order... that she finally brought us our food. We had to wait a good 25 minutes to even see our rolls and cornbread and the place hadonly a few diners. This was 820pm àt night so this wasn't dinner rush hour. If they seem packed...don't even bother stopping. My daughter and I sat there for 45 mins and no one ever said a word. No... drinks, no "we'll be with you as soon as we can," just absolutely ignored. Im very disappointed. The only thing I can say isthat the shopping side is worth it. Multiple items missing from our meals. Thankfully our waiter was super patient andunderstanding. With covid regulations there is no checkers and other games, which is a bummer but absolutely understandable. If I could I?d give this place a ZERO. Worst food We have ever had. It was old and hard. It also took 45min to get. On top of... all that it smells worse than a portable potty. My youngest got the sliders and her plate was covered in white hairs maybe fuzzIDK. Gross! $50 we will never get back not to mention hour of our lives. My husband was so upset he walked out. Cracker Barrel is always a good place to stop. The food is always very good, and who can not love breakfast all day . And they... have such a wide selection in the gift shop , there is something for everyone . I just fell in love with the Swan Glitter Globemy husband bought me. This mid-rating is because of my recent visit. I love Cracker Barrel & stopped in Batesville MS for dinner on my way back home... to AR. Thegood first: The food was SUPERB!!! The fried chicken (breasts) was perfectly, lightly battered and juicy! The macaroni& cheese connoisseur in me was in Heaven. The mac and cheese was DELICIOUSLY creamy & cheesey- perfect in EVERY way!! (I evendecided to order an extra side of mac and cheese to take home with me!!?) ...Now to the PROBLEM of my visit = Service wasHORRIBLE/ NEGLECTFUL!! Our server disappeared after bringing our food out. The cornbread that is supposed to come with my mealwas forgotten & I didn't get it till I was boxing up my leftovers to take home. There was no checking on our table or refillingof drinks. I had to poke my head in the doorway of the kitchen to get any help as "other" servers clearly ignored our attemptsto get someone's attention for help. And my extra side of macaroni- I was told they'd ran out but a new batch was in the ovenand would be ready in 20 minutes. I didn't receive it until 45 MIN LATER and only AFTER I stuck my head BACK into the kitchenAGAIN. I was NOT happy with the service - I HOPE they were just having an 'off' day.
