The cheese and apricot strudel was good but all of the filling leaked out and burned on the pan. The pasty strudel was just... ok.\nUpdate: They gave me a free strudel, which I appreciate. The filling leaked out of this one, too. It was a cherrycheesecake. It was so sweet we couldn\'t eat it. It tasted more like cream cheese icing than cheesecake. All 3 strudel I gotfrom them didn\'t brown at all. Also, I\'d prefer more pastry and less filling. Read more
First time at the strudel house. Very surprised at the high prices. The cherry strudel did not cook properly, mushy and soggy... after following baking instructions. The chicken pot pie was very dry and the strudel was much too thin. Oh well, disappointing. Read more
Very nice people and service.\nWide variety of strudels . We thought the apple was delicious but directions need... changing.\n\nShould be hotter same time , followed instructions added 10 minutes and still not as crisp as should be.\n\nIadjusted our cherry cheese and worked better but for the price did not go far , overall too much $$ for product , wassurprised.\nExpected more.\nCheese too heavy .\n\nWe would not go back but glad we stopped. I found out about Mattie?s Strudel Haus from a friend and have been hooked on their food ever since then.\n\nI have tried a lot... of their strudels and just love every one of them. The cheesesteak, Reuben, Mac and cheese and chicken fingers, bacon egg andcheese, gosh I could go on and on.\n\nThe sweet strudels are to die for. Absolutely love their Strudels, you can get dinner & dessert to take home and make or freeze for a day you don\'t feel like... cooking. Each one I\'ve had so far was delicious.They make great gifts as well. The owner is such a sweet person as well as therest of the staff. Read more

I was in the mood for something sweet googled backery near me and was directed to matties and sweet baby Jesus was it a... blessing. Talk about customer Service they did that and more. It was my\nFirst time being there they made me feel like theyknown me forever, very welcoming. I left with two rolls when my intention was only one.
