Well.... I have found my favorite Grits place so far in America. Man, them grits were on another level. The Biscuits & gravy... was also a top 10 in America. I travel for a living & Biscuits & gravy are one of my go to morning breakfast meals. Excellentcook. Service was good but, that food was a blessing to be able to enjoy. Good job. Read more

Absolutely delicious breakfast and/or brunch spot. I had the Lobster Omelette and City Grits, and I will definitely be coming... back to order that again. The service was on point. UPDATE: we recently returned to this location since my last review twice. July 15th this time the food was really good. Grits... were not dry at all. Creamy and great consistency. The bacon was crispy and delicious as usual. Eggs were freshly made. They gotmy husband's order wrong but he didn't complain. What they did send out was good though. Previous review: We frequent brokenegg often. Nola location mostly for YEARS. Citiplace location we've been here a couple times.... usually 4 or 5 stars. NOTTODAY Everything was dry or burned. Host was friendly and we were seated quickly as it wasn't busy at all...which is why Icouldn't understand how the food wasn't fresh. I'm not sure what was worse. The grits that even 5 tabs of butter wouldn't helpOR the burned toast. ???????????funny thing was TWO out the 3 plates that contained toast received it burned. Everyone's gritswas dry. It looked as if the grits had sat in the bowl for some time. The eggs were dry so I attempted to put butter on them butthey weren't warm enough to melt the butter at all. Bacon was good and literally the only thing on our plate that wasnt screwedup. We never send food back unless we've decided to leave but unfortunately time didn't permit. Went here for brunch and enjoyed my visit. Their brunch menu is fairly extensive, so there is something for everyone. I got the... biscuits and gravy and they were very flavorful. Definitely will be back to try other brunch items. Read more

My experience was amazing. The fact that I was having brunch with my son added to the pleasantries of this experience. We both... had dishes that were delicious, hot, and worth the money. The bartender was nice and knowledgeable. My mimosas were perfect andcute. I have eaten at Another Broken Egg on occasion and it has yet to disappoint. Oh! And the wait was only 15 minutes.However, there was no wait for the bar so we took our seats there. That was an added bonus because there is often a wait to eatat this restaurant. Great place for brunch. The restaurant is laid out pretty good with plenty of seating for everyone. Only had to wait a few... minutes for a table to open up. On a return trip I will have to get me a few mugs for my own coffee. Our server was delightfulin listening for our order and bringing our food and drinks in a timely manner. Felt totally relaxed not rushed to eat andgo. It wasn?t loud for being busy even with the football games that were playing with a little bit of volume. The atmosphere istotally relaxed.
