A family owned spot located in the middle of downtown Baton Rouge. This place does great lunch food for reasonable prices.... Servings are super generous. Always recommend trying the specials. If you can get here before noon you?ll be the rush of localoffice/government employees rushing in. Stopped by this morning for a breakfast biscuit sandwich and it was great. Read more

The combo fried rice taste good but I noticed that I received alot less on my plate than last time I came. And honestly for $16,... there should be a massive amount of rice! Read more

I came for breakfast and ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was full of flavor... and it had a nice spicy kick to it (so, be warned if you aren't a fan of spicy food). I'll be coming back next time I'm in thearea. Read more

Oh my this place is awesome. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have an array of dishes to choose but my ultimate... favorite is the shaken beef. Marinated prime beef served in a brown sauce with white or fried rice. You have to go check themout yourself believe me. Read more

I love going to this place because I work downtown and it?s so close. The last 3 times I?ve been have been quite disappointing.... Today I spent $15 on shrimp fried rice. There were literally 6 shrimp and I?m now left with a full plate of underseasoned riceand veggies. It?s so sad that this has to be my last visit.Great staff, but the food isn?t worth the price. The food is always on point at Cafe Mimi. They have the best shrimp fried rice and sping rolls in Baton Rouge. Their prices have... gone up a little bit due to rising food costs. Overall this place is worth the upcharge. Read more

Wanted to try this place for a while now and finally today we went there for lunch. It was packed up for almost as long we were... there. The Pho was amazing.. we can feel the flavour richness in the broth. The beef and brisket were tender and went well withit. The grilled chicken was good but the fried rice was OK. The iced coffee was very strong but felt a little expensive @$6 foraround 12oz.. would love to try their breakfast someday as i heard great things about it. The staff were very friendly andattentive.
