We had a group of four and decided to do Outback for dinner. We like Outback already, but our server, Carey, was fantastic. He... was so personable and had such a cool vibe about him. Order $200 of food for pick up and did not receive the entire order. Called and the only option was to pick it up next time I... ordered. Not sure how this helps someone get the food they ordered but that is a terrible option. Now I either have to spendmore money to make a complete order from a place that doesn't give you your food or make another trip to the restaurant onanother day to get partial meals. Will not order from Jones creek again. I would suggest others do not either. How many peopleare supposed to check this before it leaves the restaurant? The cook and the to go server at least. Either there are multipleincompetent people working there are multiple people that don't care. Either way, not somewhere you should spend your moneyunless you want to eat your meal over a couple of days. Also, forced gratuity to not receive what I ordered. Traveling back east, we decided to pull over to eat. Found this Outback Steakhouse which is a couple of miles south of I-12. Not... going into specifics, but service could be a little faster. Not sure if the wait is from the server or the kitchen or both.Overall, the server was a courteous and respectful guy. He checked on us periodically. I'd rather have that over fast service,but it took a really long time to get our order (about 55 minutes). If you can see my photo, my baked potato looked liked it wasnuked in the microwave for too long. It was small and the skin was burnt inside. Hardly any potato to eat. Also, the lightbulbsin the two-person booths need to be changed to a softer light. I don't think this is an isolated problem at this Outback. Weunscrewed our lightbulb because it was so bright and in our eyes. Read more
Outback Jones Creek is by far my favorite location. The food was cooked to perfection and the customer service was top notch.... When I called Outback to compliment them on my order , I found out the manager took the time out of his busy night to make suremy order was correct. I special order my food due to an allergy and that says a lot about a person. He genuinely cares about thecustomers. By the way, I ordered the NY strip and the cut of meat and flavor was amazing. My husband and I eat out in restaurants frequently. One of the places we like to go to is Outback. We like going to the Outback... on Jones Creek Rd in Baton Rouge, LA to get the sirloin. My husband likes his sirloin well done, and many times at restaurantshe has to send it back to the kitchen. We visited on November 23, 2022. His sirloin was perfection. I got the sirloin andgrilled shrimp. Both were delicious! The best part of our experience, however, wasn't even the food, believe it or not! It wasour server, Helen. Helen greeted us right away at our table with the most bubbly personality with most sincerity. She has one ofthose personalities that makes you smile just by listening to her speak. I asked if I could get some coffee with Splenda andcreamer. And she told me she had plain creamer, but that she also had vanilla milk and "it was fire!". I just loved that. So ofcourse, I wanted to try the vanilla milk. She made a fresh pot of coffee just for me and brought me the vanilla milk (which bythe way, was "fire"! :) Once our food was brought out, which was by someone else, she made sure to come to the table promptly tosee if we needed anything. This is so important to us because so many times, we have noticed after our food comes out, we haveto wait too long for our server to come check on us because my husband likes to have steak sauce. And often times, by the timethe server comes to check on us, the steak isn't even hot any longer. But Helen's timing was spot on! (however, the gentlemanwho brought out our food had already asked if we needed anything, and he promptly brought my husband the steak sauce. I wish Ihad gotten his name. Many times, the person who brings out your food doesn't even ask if you need anything. They just let theserver handle that. Or, they ask you, but then forget to bring it to you).
