Best potato salad, baked beans and cole slaw. A little expensive but , damn its good.
Im not sure if it was a bad day or just a bad location but it was not a good experience. After a long wait in the drive thru,... eventhough it was not busy, the food was warm, not hot! Don't waste your time. Brisket and ribs were dry and seemed to be low quality. Portions were small.

This Podnuh's has been a staple in Baton Rouge for years now. The past few it has been hit or miss, all completely on the... manager and pitt boss. Luckily this visit was outstanding. The meats were great and well smoked and not dried out. The potatosalad actually had lumps of potatoes in it rather than being blended in with dressings. The beans were hot and well spicedwith chunks of beef. Even the tea was fresh and flavorful. A quite refreshing visit, but not always the case. There was a newlady at the cutting board who knew how to cut meats, remove fatty meat not right for serving and actually wanting to know howand what the customer wanted. Why they even had a staff member come out and ask the customers there how their lunch was. To theowner of Podnuh's....this visit at this location rivaled your Florida Blvd. Location for the first time in years. Please ohplease do not change a thing here now. I have been going here since it opened. It had been going downhill for a few years and now it?s to the point of me not going... anymore. The people working there have the worst attitudes I have ever seen. They hate there jobs. Every one of them. Everythingnegative I could say I would. Just terrible. Read more
