Hidden in the upper floor of the LSU museum of art, is this amazing place. We walked in and sat at the bar, rumor is... reservations on the weekend are hard to get and it's turn. Drinks were great and the sushi was top notch and pieces were cutperfectly. Read more

Outstanding fresh sushi, great drink selection, friendly service and wonderful views of Baton Rouge City Centre & Mississippi... River. We made a special over night stay on our road trip just so we can eat here again. We ordered Gyoza and Sushi Rolls: Blackand Gold, Lava, Philadelphia and the Candy Cane. The last one isn’t on menu anymore but ask the waitress about it andthey’ll tell you about the OG menu items. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Make sure you make reservations ahead oftime. Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge is a great location to meet friends for drinks and dinner! They offer great sushi rolls and meals from... the menu! Though the wait was long before we were seated, the service was good and the food was good as well. We had a traineeas our server and he was followed by his trainer. Given he was a new employee, he handled the table quite well. We had a partyof 6, and he did not mess up any orders. The food came quick from the kitchen after it was entered, and we received everythingtogether instead of having to wait on additional meals to come out. The views from indoor and outdoor seating area were amazing. It overlooks downtown and the Mississippi River, including the Mississippi River Bridge. I would recommend this restaurant. Read more

EXTREMELY underwhelming and completely disappointing. Sunflower(their specialty) had a not fresh taste and cost more than an... entire all you can eat sushi meal from Masa Sushi (which is much better than here btw). Extremely noisy and made my head hurt.Everyone pretty much has to yell if seated inside. Big Easy was big on oil and not easy to eat. It smelled like it was fried onlow heat so it soaked up all the old oil. Seems like they don’t change their oil enough too. Server was friendly but didn’tmake up for the taste of the food. Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The eggplant miso was excellent. We ordered 5 rolls for 3 people. All of the rolls were... wonderful! The happy hour liquor choices left a little to be desired. I heard. The vodka martini was good. Read more

Located on the top floor of the building, this place has a great view of the Mississippi river which can be enjoyed while dining... here on a not-so-sunny day. Apart from the view, the food is pretty basic for the price. They have very limited vegetarianoptions and the food does not pack much flavor. The sushi is pretty fresh though. Almost impossible to get a reservation for aweekend dinners. Read more
