Went there with family on a Saturday.... THE GOOD: We had a waitress that was in her first day there. She was very sweet and... friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. She did a good job. Also, the other lady who was there (possibly the owner,but can't confirm) was very nice as well. THE BAD: As many of you have said in other reviews, the taste was pretty "bland."Also, I ordered lo mein noodles with my dish and while I can't 100% confirm this, all of the people in my party said that itlooked VERY MUCH like Ramen noodles (in fact, one of the "blocks" wasn't even separated). Whatever it was, it wasn't the lo meinI have gotten in other places ... not even close. Other members of my party also weren't happy with the food ... either thetaste or the general presentation. Also, the menu was incorrect which is just a small thing, but, still ... was not correct. Asfor the ambiance ... well, there were two flies buzzing around us for most of the meal and there were no lights on in the areawe were seated in. I didn't get to the restrooms or anything, so can't really say how those were. I have eaten at other Chineseplaces both around this area and in other parts of the US and, food wise, this was the worst one so far. Again, the staff wasfriendly and I wish the new waitress well, but there are other options in this area which are much more tasty. Read more
Ok I have to give this place EXTRA stars, as it is not just exceptionally great tasting Chinese food, but our waitress went... above and beyond what you expect from a waitress. It's truly amazing to me how you can really just see that she loves what shedoes, and she was happy to be doing her job. It's not a quality you see much of lately especially in that line of work! Very good lobster roll, spring rolls, shrimp with vegetables, wonton soup and seafood feast!
The waitress was good but the food was subpar; the shrimp wasn't properly deveined and still had feet, also way too salty. The... manager argued with members of the party over the taste of the food they were ingesting. Most foods weren't labeled and noallergy warnings were posted. They've white washed what used to be a beautiful building, the only art original to the GoldenDragon we knew and loved was the entrance. The jello and ice cream were decent. Read more
I got takeout from here for lunch today. Worker was nice over the phone. However when I arrived there was no one there at the... desk. I understand that sometimes we get busy, but I should not have waited almost three minutes just for someone to come to thedesk. I must say though, the Moo Shu Pork was good. UPDATE: I returned shortly to give this place a chance. I upped it one starbecause the service was better upon return, and no food I tried was disappointing. Read more
This is your average Chinese buffet. With the exception of the staff. The food is good: not excellent but not terrible either. ... The dining room and buffet are clean and welcoming. But the staff that works there are PHENOMENAL. Very friendly, welcomingpeople who clearly take pride in what they do. They make the experience many times better. Read more
This was my 2 nd time visiting since the new owners took over. Great wait staff, the original waitresses was kept on staff... keeping the friendliness continued. Food was delicious. My first visit I had ordered off the menu, shrimp with lobster sauce andthe buffet we had to rush for lunch but it was full hot and good food. My wife had the almond chicken dinner off the menu the1st time, shown in the picture with my shrimp and lobster sauce. Read more
Fresh and fast! Togo orders are ready in about 15 minutes. Large menu selection. Dine-in is a great value, large portions... always made-to-order. Sushi is fresh and well-crafted. Best Fried Rice, Eggrolls and Crab Meat Rangoon there is. Staff is kindand hard working. Read more
