Our server, Dustin, was spot on! We were a group of 13, and he got everything perfect! He had everything we could ask for ready... before we asked! He was amazing. Kudos kiddo! Honestly the server was great but the bartender needs fired. Unless it's company policy to charger alot for a drink only to... deliver a sugar filled glass. The drink i got had zero alcohol and the same for my wife's margarita. This spot used to be ourdate night spot if our other spot was slammed...but I would rather go to miller's time out. It was AWESOME food was Great. I had a special request for langostinos and the chef new exactly what I wanted it cost a little... pricey but it was well worth it and our waitstaff Lisa she knew exactly what I was talking about went to the chef and they mademy meal it was amazing I will always go back to the Battle Creek Red lobster and I always want Lisa from the day shift to waiton us she was amazing again everything was super fantastic. The food is consistently good. However, there's 1 waitress that has been there a long time that repeatedly up scales our $9.99... lunch specials to the dinner price. She always says "You pointed to the dinner item", which is NOT true. My wife and I alwaysarrive shortly after the restaurant first opens to get the lunch special options. I hate the hassle of trying to get the billadjusted when this waitress serves us. It truly takes the fun out of eating out. Hard to believe this only happens to us. Maybea lot of folks don't notice the issue at the time. While restaurants are struggling to stay open, it doesn't help to haveservers constantly up charging a person's order. Read more

When we first got to the Battle Creek location I noticed that the outside was very clean and well maintenance. When we walked... inside, there was no wait and got seated right away. Our waiter (Walter V) greeted us right away and took our drink order with asmile and just so high spirited. We didn’t have to wait long on our drinks. He took our appetizer order and made sure that wedidn’t need any more biscuits even though he suggested. Our waiter kept updating us on our appetizers and our dinner so wedidn’t have to wait long or wonder when it was coming out. Most of my food was good except for the lobster tail it had acertain smell and the taste had a strong spoiled taste. It was like the cook had it sitting out too long and then decided tocook it. I didn’t notice it was bad until I bit into it, I was highly disappointed because that was my favorite part butunfortunately I was not able to enjoy it and I did not complain to my waiter since he was busy with other tables so I justdecided not to eat it. For two people our bill was over $100 and I was not able to enjoy the main dish because my lobster tailwas horrible. I had high hopes for delicious food since we haven’t eaten at this specific location for almost three year.Other than that, the rest of the food was delicious and enjoyed. Dead Lobster is always a solid choice for a meal, but Captain Luey's on Columbia beats them hands down. The Lobster Mashed... Potatoes were really good and the Cheddar Bay Biscuits are always on point. Read more
