I ordered the roasted sweet potato dish that comes on a bed of rice with garbanzo beans and tahini. The dish tasted excellent,... however, when it is advertised as "Roasted Sweet potato", then the main ingredient should have been roasted sweet potatoes. The dish should have been called: rice, garbanzo beans, with a small topping of roasted sweet potatoes. I had them add a pieceof fried chicken on top. It was hand breaded and tasted excellent and very moist! My friend had the ahi tuna bowl on rice andhe loved it, but said it was more of a summer dish vs a fall dish as it wasn't warm. Bread was fresh baked and very good. Read more

Awesome experience! Delicious food, friendly staff and well designed environment. I had a salmon sandwich and it was yummy.... Service was quick and exceptional. By the way there’s also a mini plane museum onsite which shares an amazing experience onits own way. I’d definitely come here again! Read more

This place is not far from the highway, and was a really cool place to have lunch with the biplanes and Cessna airplanes around.... WACO Kitchen has a small but stylish dining area set against the bar and kitchen. They have an extensive wine list, as well as 4or 5 beers on tap, and mixed drinks. I selected the specials on offer which were a hot, Asian mushroom soup, and a "three pigs"sandwich that featured pulled pork, bacon and candied ham. Both dishes were "amazing", and our server was personable and fun. Read more

The only negative thing I can say is I wish I would’ve eaten here sooner. The host(I’m sorry I forgot her name) was amazing... she was super friendly and answered every question I had. Our waiter was also awesome. We got to sit outside and witness a fewplanes take off and land. I felt so relaxed, and I was never rushed. The food was very fresh and tasted perfect . I willdefinitely be back again. Keep up the great work. I’m proud to see such an awesome place in Battle Creek. Read more

Eat with classic airplanes at the airport! Large outdoor covered deck with seating for ~40. High end menu. Melvana (Mel) was our... amazing server. She gave great advice on the menu and delivered flawless service. I gave her a 33% tip, the most I've ever left. Read more

Such a unique restaurant for Battle Creek! Very clean and contemporary feel with a nice sunset view. I ordered the roasted... salmon and a side salad. I have celiac, and the waiter knew the salmon was made gluten free right away and was veryaccommodating to my husbands diet as well. We brought our family here to celebrate Mother’s Day dinner and everyone wasimpressed. Will be visiting again! Read more

Had a great lunch at WACO Kitchen. I have stopped in a few times now. They have some of the best quality ingredients in the... Battle Creek area. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have a rotating menu with great food. This past time Ihad the tacos which had fried chicken and a house sauce with a side of fries and ketchup and it was amazing. If you have neverstop by I'd highly recommend checking it out and I would love to come back. Read more
