Just great! It was late as we drove thru town and we stopped to have a good steak. Service and quality was right on. We... ordered 2 medium filets. Wow. Juicy and just nicely prepared. Ray's Lobster Dip is absolutely delicious! They also know how to cook a steak that'll dang near melt in your mouth. The gator... bites were also great! Needless to say we were stuffed after our meal and got our dessert to go... Key Lime Cake and it didn'tdisappoint! Read more
My husband and I have been driving past this place for the last 4 years going from Cochran to Kingsland every other weekend to... drop his son off. We have always wanted to try it. So we left early enough this past Saturday to stop and eat. Looking at themenu there wasn't a huge selection of food which I understand. My husband loves ribs so he ordered the ribs and I had ahamburger steak and my son had the BBQ baked potato. My husbands ribs came out and they looked really dry and looked like theyhad been boiled before smoking. They had no flavor and were tough as nails. My hamburger steak and gravy appeared to bemicrowaved before being sent out. The hamburger steak had a super strong smoked flavor something I felt like shouldn't be on ahamburger steak. The gravy had a sand texture to it. The green beans was about the only thing I would eat. The baked beans wasmore sauce than beans. My son's baked potato had huge chunks of pulled pork on it that had to be cut just to eat and it had beenmicrowaved to death too. And it cost 3 of us 100 bucks for 6 ribs, a hamburger steak, BBQ baked potato and 1/2 basket of gatorbites oh and 3 sweet teas. We were very disappointed in the experience. Our boys love the cowboy decor and the swings out front, so it's a must visit for them. The food is good, and the service is... great! I recommend either their fried green tomatoes or the fried pickles! Read more
We absolutely love the service and food and atmosphere at Ray's. Very clean, spacious with servers who truly make you feel like... the most important customer despite taking care of other tables as well. Travelling from Ontario Canada to say this is alwaysthe highlight of our trips to Baxley is an under statement. Best all around, just wish we lived closer so we could eat heremore often! Read more
Good food compared to whats offered in Baxley. We arrived at 8pm, they where sold out of ribs. I ended up with pulled pork for... $16. Wifes steak was good quality and had good flavor. Most plates where $18+. Would try again for sure. Read more
The atmosphere in this place is warm and welcoming. The food was great and our waiter was on top of her game, but what stood... out the most was the owner Mr. Ray He came to our table to check on us and in the mist of our conversation he gave us anencouraging word.
