Chicken wild rice soup was very good and creamy! It is a must have. The other items we got that was very good was was the mac &... cheese bites (reaper sauce was mild) & the Ruben sandwich. Asked for my steak to be well done it was medium rare. Wife's chicken breast was like rubber like it was cooked in the... microwave. One set of chicken straps was like over cooked crusty. The daughter's chicken strips was good. Rice soup was good.The baked potato was also good so at least something was good. The waitresse was also very good and polite good service. Theydeducted one chicken strip basket of our bill. Every place has a bad night but won't go back. Read more
Awesome restaurant, food, and service! We purchased a precooked Prime Rib and Au Gratin potatoes for a recent event. All we had... to do was reheat and serve. BEST gluten free cake EVER. I floated to the ceiling after a bite--thought I was in heaven. The dinner and service was amazing,... too. The tall booths feel more private and nice place to visit and catch up. Read more
Prime rib 18oz was excellent!! Think the best I've ever had... .... we also had double half pound bacon burger that was... excellent as well... Half rack of ribs was also excellent as well! Chicken bacon ranch wrap was excellent as well... Any foodthat we ever ordered here is perfectly made and great cook and excellent staff also!! I recommend this place to anyone! Wellworth the money! Really enjoyed the log cabin vibe and decor of the place. Food was okay but for the price could've been better. Service seemed... rushed and while they seemed busy was not what I would've hoped for. For appetizers two people had salad, one had a chickenwild rice soup, and one lobster bisque. Salads were fine. The rice soup was a thick stew with consistency of chili and notvery pleasant. The lobster bisque was the star of the whole meal. Wine was ordered initially but didn't come out until a fewasks on status. For entrees we ordered steaks and someone had walleye. The food came in decent time but wait staff failed toclear off first course and I nearly ended up with my steak knife in my lap. I appreciate staff are rushed & maybe understaffedthese days but would prefer they take their time to bus tables between courses. Steaks were ok, for prime rib being a Fridayspecial, it was done pretty well. Didn't offer horseradish. The filet mignon was pretty good, seemed that it was done beforethe fish and waited under a lamp for 10 minutes before delivery. Again was good but for the price you're paying I was a littledisappointed. Walleye seemed like a fish & chip. Okay but not thrilling. Read more
